I could’ve died eating this . Chicken had odd smell & when I looked down it was very dark & off texture I believe this was old or handled improperly before cooking. I’m so mad I wasted $20 on this and was still hungry I was so up I didn’t even call about it. There’s no way the cook did not know this chicken was spoiled

Sooo I don’t see how they have a 4 star rating because I have been here three times and they haven’t been open. Sign on the door says they are closed for the day. But the flashing neon light says they are open. Even got out to check the door……. They won’t update their status in google to reflect their hours of operation.

I love the theme of this establishment! The writings on the wall, the music playing, and the various movies on the screens really set the mood. The food is freshly made and the wait isn't bad at all because you're distracted by all of the amazing art! I was wondering why there wasn't any salt and pepper on the table, well it's because the food is well seasoned and very delicious! I haven't had a homemade burger like i had at this establishment since the 90s! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family...evens strangers! BTW the menu on Google maps says they have patty melts but they aren't aware of this...but they made me one anyway lol? it was awesome!

Great food and the ambiance is unmatched! My favorite parts of the restaurant are the front porch and Austin Memory Wall. Favorite menu item the OG Wings with Mac and Cheese

Just left there n paid almost $20 for ONE turkey leg and literally 20 fries when the menu says 2 sides and 2 turkey wings!.. come on man. Nice vibe in the restaurant tho..played some good ol school trap music!

???????I had the fried shrimp and it was the worst.Shrimp are not deveined and it gave the shrimp a bad taste.Fried gizzards were not good either.Definitely not going back.

Just no ? The chicken was pink and not done. Mac n cheese was disgusting. The tea drink I got was expired ???♀️ I just got this food a few minutes ago and I already know I will never go back. I had to finish cooking the chicken in my air fryer. Black owed business should be ashamed ?

Best fried chicken I have had in a long time. Red Beans and Rice was amazing. Overall it was exceptional, friendly and valued perfect. Will definately be frequenting this spot and trying out the rest of the menu.
Took over 30 minutes to receive what I ordered. I felt that since they were taking so long that the food would be good, I was wrong, wings are dry and unseasoned. Definitely will not be returning to this establishment.

I get tryna make some money but throwing ingredients together and calling it a spread ain’t it! All the noodles and meat was at the bottom of the cheesy (cup) no taste to it at ALL! The first time I went to trap a week earlier the chicken was pink and cooked way to fast. Do better so you can get better! Are you in it for the money or the satisfaction? I’m all for black owned businesses but it’s a reason why “the Trap Kitchen” isn’t a house hold name.
