Awesome people, even better doggos. Chill vibes, tons of drink options. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.

I found this spot while searching for a dog park for my small frenchie.

I didn’t realize it was a paid to play place until I got there. $12 a day pass or unlimited $30 a month.
At first I was hesitant because I have never paid for a dog park however, the employee there informed me that the cost supplies employees to watch over the dogs and other amenities.

For humans; There’s tables, two tvs, porter potties, card games, board games and a bar there where you and some friends can enjoy while your doggo plays.
For dogs; The park has a secured fence, water bowls, doggie bags, tennis balls, tables, a LARGE park to run around and water sprinklers to play in.

The park was clean and the employees were friendly. I know it may sound weird to you as well to pay for a dog park but it does make sense for the cleanliness and the other features. Plus a place like this attracts good owners and well-trained dogs.
I noticed two food trucks right outside of the park. There is also a parking lot away from the main street.

I’d go again and get a month pass. My doggo really enjoyed running around with the other dogs.

🌟Review of The Watering Bowl in Austin🌟

As a dog owner, finding a place that truly prioritizes the well-being of our furry friends can be a challenge. For me and my two dogs, Yuri and Zoe, discovering The Watering Bowl in Austin has been nothing short of life-changing. This unique dog park has become a sanctuary for us, offering not just a safe space for my dogs to play and socialize, but also a welcoming community that feels like family.

One of the standout features of The Watering Bowl is its friendly and attentive staff. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm for dogs. The management is equally exceptional, always approachable, and eager to ensure every member and their pets have a positive experience. Their dedication to creating a safe and enjoyable environment is evident in everything they do.

The laid-back vibes at The Watering Bowl make it a place where both dogs and their owners can relax and unwind. Unlike public dog parks, where the atmosphere can sometimes feel chaotic, this private park offers a sense of peace and order (for the most part 😉 our dogs are still allowed to have fun!). Knowing that every dog on the premises is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations provides unparalleled and NECESSARY peace of mind. This attention to safety standards creates a secure environment where I can let Yuri and Zoe roam freely without worry.

The members of The Watering Bowl are just as friendly as the staff. There's a shared understanding and respect among dog owners here that fosters a true sense of community. Whether you're a long-time member or new to the park, you're welcomed with open arms. Over time, this camaraderie has grown into what feels like an extended family. It’s a place where both dogs and their humans form lasting friendships.

The Watering Bowl has genuinely transformed our lives. Yuri and Zoe have not only become more social and confident but also found a place where they’re always excited to visit. For me, it’s been a joy to connect with like-minded dog lovers and know that my pets are thriving in a safe and supportive environment. If you’re a dog owner in Austin looking for a community-centered dog park, I can’t recommend The Watering Bowl enough.

We love the watering bowl!!! We joined as members because we moved into a neighborhood that had an empty dog park with no friends to play with- my dogs were always down in the dumps! We come about 4 times a week now. The dog security team is great- they are so friendly and give our dogs so much love. Very well behaved dogs in the park. Cold beer! And they put on really cute events for holidays, breed meetups, dog yoga, etc.

Fantastic local dog park with beverages for purchase, free WiFi, pool and a splash pad for my pup. We love this place and the staff!

Welcoming staff, serious about dog safety, great members!

Dog-friendliness: It's a gog park, so of course it is dog-friendly. The dogs need to be vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Dog park should be free. They don't allow kids and you are not allowed to be inside with your dog. Bad experience.

Very nice place

Amazing staff that truly cares about their members and their dogs. I can’t say enough nice things about the crew that looks after everyone!

Restrooms: There are honey buckets located inside the dog park

Dog-friendliness: I think it goes without saying, a dog park is dog friendly. But I have to state it once more; the staff elevates everything, they are dog owners themselves and they keep things fun and safe

Picnic area: There are picnic tables inside and outside the dog park; just keep in mind that you can’t bring in liquids or food (human or dog treats). Those items must be kept outside

I get my baby angel groomed here by Miss Haley. She's the best. Animals love her because she loves them. Thank you Haley!

Really love this spot. 1. the staff is great and makes me feel safe bringing my smaller but playful dogs since they keep an eye on the pups. 2. its a fun place for my dogs to run around and get their energy out. 3. love the human options for a beverage.

I like this place, very close to where I live, and lots of shady trees. My dog enjoys the trees as well, as they are home to many brave squirrels. My boyfriend wishes they served booze or had an amber beer options.

Went there for the first time yesterday. I took my goldendoodle. I love the staff and the swimming pools for dogs. I do have to say that some dogs that go there are not dog friendly. There was serval times yesterday where the staff was watching a few dogs that was trying to get into a fight. I feel like you can’t relax there due to dogs not being friendly.
