Good food , good vibes & cozy decor.. Pretty good cocktails options. Great food date nights & special occasions. Friendly staff & decent prices & decent portions.
Great food, very healthy choices
Great food! The wagyu steak and eggs was delicious! Highly recommend for a healthier brunch spot!
Friends, you m u s t come here!
My favorite thing about this restaurant was how clean it is; no seed oils. That is massive, there is a few restaurants that produce food that healthy, much less absolutely delicious.
Not only that, an entire group of us swarmed to restaurant. They were so accommodating, gracious, and were timely to boot.
Visit The Well!
Overhyped and mediocre
We loved everything about the Well. The brunch options were very unique and everything we ordered was delicious. Our server was awesome too! Can’t wait to come back again.
The place is beautiful, the decor is inviting.
Something to be mentioned is that their AC is perfect for the hot Texas weather
I highly recommend the drinks, delicious and healthy options.
In terms of meals, everything is delicious and beautifully plated.
During weekends, make a reservation if you don't want to wait for an hour to get a table.
I had a wonderful recent experience at The Well and have to give a special shoutout to our incredible server, Emily. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel so taken care of — she was warm, attentive, and thoughtful in a way that truly elevated the entire evening. She had great recommendations, checked in at all the right moments without ever feeling intrusive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. The food was okay, but it was Emily’s exceptional service that really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and on top of every detail.
One small disappointment: I had seen on Instagram that the tacos came with Tozi tortillas and the Ensenada salsa matcha, but neither was included with my order. I was really looking forward to trying some local brands, so I hope they're still part of the menu or at least noted if they’re seasonal or limited.
Food was good and great service, but I can't get over the fact that adding eggs to a hash is $7 and a piece of toast is $6. Otherwise, food tasted great and I enjoyed it!
First of all, The Well is decorated perfectly. It's so beautiful inside and very welcoming. Fits the vibe perfectly. First impressions left a lot to be desired with the hostess. She was not welcoming, pretty cold, and all around gave the vibe that she didn't want to be there. She was also sitting people right next to each other, at tables that are much too close to each other, when there were open tables just a few seats down. People were getting up and moving after she'd place them because you couldn't have a conversation with whomever you were with if the next table also were having a conversation. Our server was wonderful and gave good recommendations on what to order. The food was just mid. It wasn't bad, it wasn't the best, it tasted good but it wasn't anything I'm clamoring to go back to. As a person who eats gluten free because I medically have to, I was looking forward to the meal quite a bit, but the options were just very strange and mushrooms seemed to be in every dish (mushrooms gross me out). The crispy potatoes in the classic breakfast were AMAZING but very salty. In the end, will I be back? Yeah, probably but it won't be for breakfast/brunch.
Restaurantji Recommends
Visited Austin with my boyfriend from Dallas for Fourth of July weekend we made a reservation got there and everything was really smooth. Food was really good we got the spinach pesto and chicken and brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious and our server Tommy provided excellent service. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Austin.
Awesome spot for very healthy and creative options. Very clean and comfortable, great ambience, and amazing food.
We loved the atmosphere! The food the service, it was my first time here with my gf and we enjoyed every aspect of it, the healthy food the seatings, we are definitely returning
Great food in a pleasant environment. I recommend high top seating. The food was fresh, healthy, tasty, and service was timely. Also great that they validate 90 minutes of parking at Austin City Hall garage!
My spouse has several food sensitivities, and we have a hard time finding a restaurant that has more than one or two items she can eat. It was such pleasure to find a restaurant where she could eat almost everything on the menu AND it was good.
