Prepare to have your dessert dreams come true! This shake from The Yard is a work of art and a fantastic explosion of color and sweetness. From the moment it arrived, the chocolate-coated rim and the sheer height of the toppings screamed fun. It's a symphony of textures—the creamy shake, the crunchy chips, the soft whipped cream, and the perfect brownie bite. It's the most joyfully indulgent, sugary escape you could ask for. Highly recommend for a sweet, memorable treat!
This place is awesome!! I get my big back on at this place!! My new favorite place to go to get a milkshake out of this world!!
Great flavor choices for ice cream recommend trying the white chocolate marshmallow flavor.
Great selection of Blue Bell ice creams. The service was ok, a bit slow. They ran out of plain sugar cones? …yes. Overall, a good experience albeit a bit pricey.
Wow best ice cream ever
Best milkshakes from here to Mars
They serve Bell ice cream at Haagan-dazs prices. Bad service as well. Not going back.
This was absolutely horrendous,I would rather eat a sandwich with actual sand in it with cat poop. The employees had no energy and were in no rush at all. I ordered a cupcake sundae and they were out of cupcakes,my grandpa ordered a banana split sundae and they were out of bananas, and the ice cream was so bland in taste and very watery(it tasted like milk). Maybe it was just this location but it was trash. It was 22$ and not worth any amount. You would have to pay me to eat this trash again.and it was lacking cleanliness and needed some work ! Let’s just say it was not a well experience
300% markup if fine. That's normal. But saying there's a 3.5% card fee and then charging 10.67% card fee and hiding it inside the cost of the product is deceitful on two accounts. Never coming back back. Telling everyone about this experience whenever the topic of milkshakes come up, and going to post my receipt all over the internet so people can laugh at me buying a quart size milkshake and being charged nearly 11% service fee for using a card.
The best cookie oatmeal ice cream in all Austin

Amazing ice cream creations! Wow!
Taste like Dairy Queen just double the price.
We stopped by The Yard Milkshake Bar in Austin and tried the strawberry cheesecake milkshake, the mango ice cream (with real mango pieces, which was lovely), and my son went for the cotton candy ice cream. The shakes are definitely fun and over-the-top, perfect for the experience. The space itself is a bit cramped with limited seating, and while the ice cream tastes about the same as other shops, the price is definitely higher. Still, it’s worth it at least once for the outrageous milkshakes and the “just to say you did it” factor.
They use some kind of whipped topping, not real cream, which they filled the cup. The place looks dilapidated, the staff doesn't seem to care, and they charge $20 for a milkshake in a 10 oz mason jar from HEB. There are so many better places around.
The staff is always just standing around not being helpful and whey they are taking your order they are smug to you the rest of the time.
