Went to Thirsty’s on 6th Street for a quick bar stop. It’s a big two-level spot with a lot going on, so it works if you want noise, TVs, and a “walk in, grab a drink, keep it moving” kind of night. The downside is it can feel a little chaotic once it fills up—lines at the bar, people bumping into each other, and service depends on how slammed they are. Drinks were fine, nothing special, but it did the job for a casual downtown night.
I had a great time watching the chicago beers game.All the customers were very midwestern.The only problem I had was the bar staff.I ordered the same drinks from three different people and received three different prices.
Cory was the best bartender we met on our trip. Makes the best old fashion. Helpful with directions around town. Most of all 100% genuine, real , like we knew him for years. Come check This bar out and find Cory.
