Delicious breakfast tacos! They also had a solid variety of smoothies on the menu. I got the Arco Iris (sp?) and it was really good. As I was eating, I saw a lot of apparent regulars come through. Seems like they’ve got a nice community thing going

Quick quality, no nonsense breakfast. It’s quiet too as it’s tucked down below an office building.. I had huevos rancheros and it was solid. If you’re traveling and you just wanna sit by yourself in a quiet place and get a good coffee and something filling this is it highly recommended

First timer here … I tried Thistle because it was close to my “goto” breakfast place, whose line was too long. I guess it was a blessing in disguise.
The food was available fast; and the tacos were tasty—every ingredient, like it was fresh. 😎
I peaked under the tortilla cover and put some sauce on it, which only enhanced the flavor and didn’t cover it up.
I also appreciate the conversation while taking the order—not too much, but enough to feel like an individual customer. Nice!
I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!

DOWNTOWN HIDDEN GEM. The only bad thing about this place is that it is not open every day! I work across the street and go here frequently and tell all my residents about it. Their matcha lattes, breakfast tacos, and lunch specials are so delicious and not to mention, so well priced. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and their cafe ambiance is nice- always playing a great playlist. I absolutely love it here! No doubt, worth your stop.

Tacos are terrible in comparison to other great choices. The high rating is clearly manipulated.
Wife and I ordered 4 tacos for brunch. The barbicoa taco was not very good. It was a tortilla and meat, nothing else, and the meat wasn't great as if it was just pushed out of a bag. The other 3 tacos+hot sauce were great.

This is an absolutely lovely little breakfast and lunch spot perfect for anyone working or just visiting nearby in downtown Austin. I've been a number of times now and had many different menu items, and it's always excellent. Moreover, the staff is always extremely warm as well as professional and diligent.
The burger is great, the wraps are great, the breakfast tacos and migas plate are great, the people and prices are great - in short, it's great.
+ The food is consistently delicious. + The workers/management are consistently friendly. + The prices are extremely fair.
