Thistle cafe was great. No frills spot for a quick bite. Seemed like they got a lot of buisness people coming in on their lunch break. I ordered 2 tacos and a latte. Tacos were great! Reasonably priced and fast!

Little small cafe super close to congress av. It has great food at decent and fair prices. Staff is super friendly and welcoming ? The first time I went for breakfast and had the chorizo breakfast tacos and the Immune system cocoa (amazing and different). The second time I went for lunch and loved the beef fajita tacos and a lovely chocolate muffin. I really recommend this place if you want to enjoy nice food and lovely service

3 stars for the coffee. I was out hunting good coffee but Thistle probably is more a breakfast taco or lunch stop.
I was excited to try the Immune System Cocoa, especially for the price, but ultimately the espresso was burned and the flavors were disappointing muted. I just couldn’t bring myself to finish it. The beautifully big and tempting blueberry muffin was sadly bland but perfectly sweet enough, but in the end not worth the calories. Should’ve had a taco.

With most places around town charging obscene prices for a salad ($20 for a salad is outrageous), this is one of the few remaining traditional lunch places available downtown. The service is excellent, everyone is always welcoming and talkative, there's plenty of options (for vegetarians too), and everything is always clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a salad, wrap, or sandwich, you can't beat this place!
