Forget about Subway and Jimmy John's. When you're in Austin, go to ThunderCloud. Great sandwiches, different and better than the big chains, and the price is reasonable too.
Thundercloud sandwiches are always wonderful. I love every location I have visited.

Great shop! Love the crew as they’re always friendly. My go to is the Cali Club w/o Thunder Sauce. Highly recommend this establishment.

Giving 3 stars because although I didn't try the food, I couldn't. There were no gluten free options for people with allergies or with Celiac. The guy at the front was actually great and steered me away from eating there. Props! I was told the entire kitchen was cross contaminated, so seriously, CELIACS BEWARE!!! I used to love going to thundercloud because they actually had safe gluten free options, but apparently their allergen standards have just gotten very lax. I hope they consider going back so celiacs and those with allergies can enjoy their subs again.
Dietary restrictions: NOT A GLUTEN-FREE KITCHEN. VERY CROSS-CONTAMINATED. I do not recommend for Celiacs or gluten allergies.

In the area for a day and wanted to support local vs. a national chain. Our sandwich master was super friendly and attentive and the staff had great recommendations for what to do with the rest of our day! Highly recommend the turkish delight.
