I asked for Thundercloud sauce on the side. At the end of my ordered I even said again to make sure the Thundercloud sauce was included and he said he would make sure it was there.
I live 20 minutes away. When I got home it wasn't there. I called the store and I was told they would give me extra sauce next time ..I'm very dissatisfied and the sandwiches were bland

Worst experience I’ve had at a thundercloud. The guy making my sandwich kept forgetting what I was ordering and then proceeded to keep repeating what I said I didn’t want on it. The WORST part was the music- doesn’t work properly keeps cutting in and out & they just let it keep going. Get a radio and call it a day.

First let me say that the young lady who made my sandwich was on point! Very polite and made my tuna fish sandwich to perfection! If I walked in again I would ask for her again! Music was great too! The riverside location is always my favorite store!

My sandwich barista was not properly trained on glove safety and didn’t see anything wrong with getting his gloves dirty and then touching food/food equipment again. After reading other reviews it seems this practice of not changing gloves is actually what they train. That’s disturbing. And there was a German Cockroach in the bathroom. I love Thundercloud, but stay away from this one

We placed an order online to pick up from here and they let us know that they were out of onions for some reason… What they didn’t let us know is that half of our order was wrong or missing. Which we discovered after we got home and they wouldn’t pick up the phone to help us get it addressed. Do not recommend!
Every thundercloud we’ve ever been to has always given a half ass performance in caring about your sandwich. Yes it’s delicious, but it’s thrown together and 80% of the things you request are ignored or forgotten in seconds.
NOT HERE!
Today was amazing. We show up to get two subs. The guy making them, wish I knew his name but he wears a cowboys beanie and has a GREAT attitude, took so much care into our sandwiches.
Remembered everything from the beginning (I try to go slow because things get missed) but he had it all on lock.
Not just that: not only did this guy make the most perfect sandwiches we’ve EVER received from a thundercloud… but he asked us what we thought about them before wrapping them up. He had excellent customer service and excellent workman ship. GIVE THE MANS A RAISE.
This is my thundercloud from now on (being in the middle of 4 locations) because of this experience.
Thank you for making our date night even better!
Best Subs in Town. Lots of great subs, but this is an institution.
One of the best sandwich companies in Austin I like the Texas tuna and Austin club those are my usual sandwiches I get. Also they have RC cola so that’s awesome.
Great subs made like they should be. The meatball was awesome. Egg salad was passable but a little pricey, which was expected. They didn't have sweet tea which was kinda strange considering how much unsweetened they had in the cooler. Overall it was good.
LOVE this place every time. 🤪

Brother Anthony in the front is a Gem. I ran into him a couple times— great guy great service,
Great sandwiches, would recommend, 10/10… but I have heard a rumor that the manager; Scott, shakes his employees by the ankles upside until all the change falls out if they are over 10 minutes late.

Unless you go at off times, or order online, don't bother going to this store. I just watched six employees walk in circles will five people stood in line waiting to make an order. Basically it's good food, but don't expect that this will be a quick in and out because they can't handle their business properly. There is no sense of urgency and they don't care.
