This was our first time trying ThunderCloud Subs. The inside is cute with a small dining room, a few tables, and plenty of free parking outside—always a win.
Service was super friendly, even though they did forget one pretty major ingredient. We ordered two Austin Clubs to go, didn’t watch them being made, and only realized once we got home that both were missing the avocado… which is kind of the whole point of the Austin Club.
We were ready to dock them harder star-wise, but they do have an automated text that follows up on your order. On that review we gave a sad face and we let them know what happened, which prompted them into refunding the entire order. Major points for that!
Missing avocado aside, the sandwiches were still tasty—solid size for $9 and the chicken had a great smoky flavor. A little hiccup, but the customer service more than made up for it. We’d give them another shot and next time watch the sandwich making process!
