I have been going to ThunderCloud Subs since I was a kid. I am now 50 years old and this is my favorite sub shop out of all of them. If you have never been here, you are missing out. My favorites are the California club, the Austin club, and the chicken salad subs.

Finally tried ThunderCloud subs & quite enjoyed it! Inexpensive, $8 Italian sub, very tasty for a quick lunch stop. Pretty simple and direct, I included 1/2 & 1/2 sweet & spicy peppers which was a solid choice. Staff was friendly too! I'll be back!
Thundercloud is the best Sub in Austin - and this location leads the pack in speed and quality. I have been eating at this location for over 25 years.

I walked in today and was helped by a man wearing glasses and a black shirt. Unfortunately, he was extremely rude and unprofessional. As I was trying to explain how I wanted my sandwich, he interrupted me and didn’t allow me to finish speaking. I come to this shop at least twice a week and have never had an issue before, but today I didn’t feel welcome at all. I’ve never seen this employee before, but based on today’s experience, he should not be in a customer-facing role without proper training in communication and basic courtesy. I won’t be returning to this location for a while

Best sub I have had in Austin let alone all time the staff were informative kind and Tim made one of the best subs in my life super kind and amazing I hope his boss sees this review and gives him a raise highly suggest the Cali with black olives honey mustard jalapenos call it the tim special
