I loved the atmosphere here. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. I had relaxing lunch with my son.

Just ate the best sandwich of my life. Thanks to the folks behind the counter today
Went in around 2:30pm - they looked busy but I waited a bit to put an order in. The woman behind the counter barely acknowledged me, kept making sandos, answered the phone, replaced tomatoes, did everything but take my order. There was 4 people behind the counter but they claimed to be “short staffed”. I walked away quietly since they clearly didn’t care today about customers.

This place remains a great value, even with prices rising everywhere. I usually order the small tuna salad with an extra scoop, and it’s surprisingly filling. The mix of provolone, mayo, mustard, onions, and tomatoes hits just right. Today’s server really went the extra mile by chopping the tomatoes so they wouldn’t slide out—such a thoughtful touch. Even when they did escape a bit, it just added to the fun of scooping everything up and enjoying every bite. The food is consistently satisfying, and the care they put into small details makes the experience even better.

Thundercloud subs is a great Austin staple. Friendly service, fresh food, and good prices.
Sandwiches are overflowing and very good. Service is excellent with very friendly staff. The gluten free bread is tasty. Definitely recommend this location!

We popped in for the first time. There were stations setup to take and make your order. I got a chef salad and he got the Austin Club salad. We both were full after lunch. The place is pretty bare bones but the food was good and fresh.

My favorite kind of a sandwich shop, not major chain! We had an Austin club and a regular club sandwich. Both were quite tasty and the perfect size. I liked the quality of the meat, vegetables all seemed fresh, bread might’ve been a little thick, but was tasty. Soft drinks were Dr Pepper based products.

Very few things in Austin have stayed the same to us old Austin OG's. Thundercloud is one of those things that is exactly like I remember it. My wife and I were in town and have been craving Thundercloud for awhile and they didn't dissapoint. My wife got the tuna foot long and I got the roast beef & avocado with extra thunder sauce and we both got broccoli cheese soup. Everything was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to come back. Thank god some things are still the way we remember! Keep up the great work Thundercloud!

I found a dead bug in my salad and they gave me the wrong dressing. Very disappointed.

This is a great Thunderclouds. Try adding onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños underneath the meatballs on the sub.
