I love me a good tiki bar! Unfortunately, this is not a good tiki bar. Far from it. I ordered a Painkiller. I was suspicious right away, because the menu said it was made with Myer's rum, when every tiki fan knows it should be made with Pusser's rum. It came in in a cool-looking tiki glass. However, consistent with my suspicions, it didn't taste right -- not very strong, and not creamy enough. I had opened a tab, but I decided to close out after that one drink. That's when the real craziness started. My drink was $10. I took out two $1 bills, intending to tip in cash. However, my bill was rung up on the payment screen as $12.82, indicating that a 20% tip was included. I tried everything to remove the 20% tip, including entering a tip of $0.00, but the $12.82 remained. Nowhere on either the wall menu or the printed menu did it say that a 20% tip would be included -- much less that it was mandatory. I asked the bartenders how to remove the 20% tip. They said I couldn't. Then one of them took over the payment screen and punched the "accept" button! Thus, even though I never approved the $12.82 payment, it went through! Needless to say, I picked up the $2 tip I had been going to leave, and I told them I was never coming back. They seemed indifferent to my concerns. In short, avoid.

Came in here with a group this past week and could not close my tab quick enough. Overpriced, tacky concept. Music 3/10 unless you like snooze tunes. Staff is rude or they were high or both, I apologize that me asking for a drink is such an inconvenience Mr. Bar guy. Cocktails are mostly ice, about 65% of your cocktail WILL be ice. Had a better time talking shop with the abundance of homeless folk that hang out outside.

Cocktails are great but I could do without the extremely loud and unthematic rap music and light show for a tiki bar.

On dirty 6th. Tropical themed bar with fruity cocktails. They do have a small kitchen with food items. Some games in the back. Came in for happy hour. They had 1/2 off Beers. $5 shots and frozen drinks.

One of the newer bars on sixth. Great staff. Was helped by Thomas and Phil who were alot of fun. Great food as well which always a plus. The spam combination rice, chicken teriyaki, and banana bread were great. Definitely recommend.

Dropped in for a few drinks. Strike against me, this was on an early Monday night. Drinks were cheap, at least compared to what I pay in LA. A group member got a whiskey sour and we were amazed at the heavy pour. The Dark and Stormy was nice and pretty, but I was enthralled by the Charlie Foxtrot. My pics don't do it justice with the burning cinnamon stick fizzling out. Wifey had a painkiller that was good, just a bit too much cinnamon on top. Still, the service was good and the bartenders were doing their best as they seemed to be short on staff. As the night wore on people crawling in and the DJ started up. I'm a bit too old for that scene, so it was time to head out.

If you ever find yourself on dirty six street and want to have some delicious creative drinks, this is the spot. I was very impressed with their fun menu and they truly deliver on taste. Place is clean and spacious. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at when I’m on sixth Street. I always enjoy the Poké bowl with a few drinks each time I’ve been there. The bartenders have been very excellent no complaints.Parking: Depending on the time of day, street parking in front can be difficult…

Stopped in here to watch the game and loved it! Lots of seating and televisions, A/C, friendly service, and amazing tiki drinks. They taste great but don’t let that fool you, they’re strong! We didn’t eat but they offer simple food options. Will definitely come back.
