We were very excited to try this place. The food was good but not great and I definitely wouldn't say Hawaiian in any form.The portions are big enough to share. I don't see myself going again.
Bbq beef, rice, spam masubi, beef short ribs, cabbage and Chinese beef skewers were delicious. Skewered corn not good at all, somehow too tough in texture. Plum juice not good.. Prices reasonable. Glad to have a place like this in town.
Up until now, we have had to drive to San Antonio for Hawaiian BBQ. Noticed this place while leaving Home Depot, and decided to drop in and give it a shot. Man, were we glad we did. Everything brought to our table was AMAZING. Chicken Katsu, bbq combo plate with rice and macaroni salad, bbq short rib meal...everything was ON POINT. Bacon wrapped mushrooms were a unique appetizer, and grilled chicken skin skewers too. Both were good, but the chicken skins were chewy. Great flavor...
