Food was ok. I got the shrimp garlic noodles which was kind of blandAnd not garlic-y enough. Spam masubi was also ok but they were cheap with the seaweed and used a small little strip that didn’t even wrap around the whole thing. Kinda sad to do that. Seaweed isn’t even expensive.

Large portions, fair prices. I thought it was really tasty and would love to come back. :)

WOW! What an amazing hole in the wall. It was our friend’s birthday, and they made it so much more special than expected. Amazing food, amazing service. The owner made and provided the best cheesecake ever (literally ever because I’ve never liked a cheesecake in my life) and such a personalized experience. I will be going here over and over for time to come. DON’T MISS OUT coming here.

Man... the food is decent but absolutely DO NOT go on a busy night. I had one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time on this last Saturday. We got there around 6:30PM on Saturday. The place was packed. There was one table open that still had the last party's plates and food. There was no one there to bus tables, they have 3 or 4 employees and they are all working in the kitchen. So we waited for a bit but ultimately ended up bussing the table ourselves so we could sit down. You order at a kiosk and pay upfront for everything... probably the worst part of this whole experience because now they have you stuck waiting for your food.We ordered a Pork and a Chicken Ramen, Tuna, Salmon, Red Snapper, and Yellowtail Nigiri, and the Pacific Roll; nothing crazy, no additions or modifications. The ramen came out 45 minutes later, and it's sparse on ingredients except for the noodles, which were definitely spaghetti noodles... broth was good but it was overall pretty mid.30 minutes later we get the Salmon & Tuna nigiri. 10 minutes after that one of the employees comes out and says they are running out of Red Snapper and Yellowtail and if they can offer us something different. We agreed to more Tuna and Salmon.30 minutes later we get 4 more pieces of Tuna... because I guess they ran out of Salmon now... and finally another 30 minutes after that we get our Pacific Roll, which, I was unaware definitely used imitation crab but was not labelled as krab like it should be. We do not like krab and wouldn't have ordered this roll if we knew.So all in all, we spent roughly 2 1/2 hours here, closed the place down, and were also the last dine-in people to receive something from the kitchen. I got the feeling the whole time that these people are poorly organized and constantly slammed by DoorDash orders, which they also seem to give priority to. There were about 8 DoorDash people that came in during our visit who all got their food promptly. I don't understand why they think it's okay to take their dine-in customers' orders out to them in such a staggered time frame, and the fact that I payed up front for everything made me feel like I was being held hostage to their messiness. No table ever got bussed, people would just carve out a place to sit around the mess.I won't be going back, but if the owners ever read this I have a suggestion: Complete a ticket before you move onto a new one, staggering food out for a table of 2 over 2 1/2 hours is not okay! And turn off DoorDash for a minute if you're getting overwhelmed and neglecting your dine-ins.

The wife really liked the chicken katsu ramen. The phoenix roll was ok. I didn't realize that hot is referring to temperature, not spice. The crab rangoon, miso soup, and gyoza were very good. Definitely recommend this place and are looking forward to trying other items next time.

I would like to first of all say that I am one to rarely write reviews. And it has been impossible to find good sushi at an affordable price in Austin without costing an arm and a leg. We got 4 rolls and it was around $45 with tip. We ordered takeout and it was still so tasty once we got home that we didn't take any photos. The people there were so nice and accommodating. There weren't that many people eating there but they could totally be busy with takeout orders but our food was ready in 15 mins. Please go and support this local business.

We went here on a Monday late afternoon after going to the doctor down the street, I was craving sushi really bad, and I was pleasantly surprised at this place. Never heard about it before but glad I came. We got 4 of the specialty rolls. The spider roll, the New York roll, the Austin roll and the Texas roll. My favorites were the New York roll and the Texas roll. Had a few pieces left over and it is still good the next day and cold. Highly recommend for take out as the sit down experience isn’t much like a full restaurant, you pay first and get your food after anyways.

I had Chasu and Roast beef ramen. The food was good but it tastes exactly like Chinese food. I can tell by the taste of chasu pork. And it's also not tender.

Stopped in on a rainy day for a late lunch before an appointment. Portions were much larger than expected and well worth it, sadly ordered too much to finish it all.Spicy salmon roll was delicious and the tempura shrimp ramen with tonkotsu broth was different. Not as salty/savory as I prefer but still a great choice. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!

Stopped in for a birthday lunch with the Bean. It was empty for a Monday afternoon lunch so service was super fast. Then music was from the hot 100. Very trendy. We ordered the shrimp ramen with miso, shaggy dog roll and the rock'n roll. The shrimp ramen was delicious. Not a specialty ramen but it was awesome. The miso was made to perfection. Shaggy dog roll was scrumptious and the eel sauce on the rock'n roll was delicious. They offered a strawberry flavored beverage from Japan which tasted a lot like fizzy koolaid. All in all, was wonderful day trip.
