I'm sorry to say this but this isn't real Jamaican oxtail if you don't know the taste you would probably find this to be good. We were really disappointed after trying this food, if you are ever in Tallahassee try G&G's Jamaican Restaurant or Tropical Flava in Macon GA then give this another review.

First off- I love the food here. The j*** chicken FALLS OFF THE BONE ?? it’s very seasoned. I love the rice & cabbage as well. I always get extra plantains (sometimes they’re a little too hard) but overall always yummy ?Cons- this may sound funny but several times I have gone the server at the window has been singing and praying extremely loud with the window open & a loud speaker. It was cute for a second but me and my boyfriend were hoping to enjoy the sunset eating our food outside & the server seemed to be playing a full worship music set, belting, and praying out loud. Not only was it distracting but also kinda weird to hear someone praying like that at a business. No hate to them for their religion at all but time & place, please. It’s happened several times now so I don’t think I’ll sit & eat here anymore which is disappointing.

Loved my purchase of curry chicken. It had a bit of everything: rice, plantain, veggies, and delicious curry chicken. You're the best Tony!!

Food was not great. If you’ve never had real Jamaican food before you’ll probably think this is good. The customer service was trash which is usually an indication of the Jamaican food being good but in this case that was not true. Fave thing was the plantains. We got oxtail/ j*** chicken meal and they didn’t give gravy on the oxtail :( oxtail was dry. Like I said if you know REAL Jamaican food you’ll be disappointed in this spot but there are slim pickings in Austin so I guess thats how they get away with it

Ordered from Uber eats. Got the chicken meal and got 2 small pieces of chicken and barely any sauce. The chicken was decent. Definitely wouldn’t come back

Ordered a Large J*** Chk with Rice/ p with Cabbage and sweat plantains. Service was acurate on pick up time. Only down fall is the employee working the window of the food truch isnt really pleasent. Besides that location and food is good.

Never had Jamaican food before so I don't have any prior comparison, but MANN I can't tell you this food hits!!! Every last bite of it down to the rice and cabbage was something to savor! Anne and Ashley helped up out, Tony was out there checking on us as we ate, and I have to say that their friendliness and welcoming just made the experience so much more. Will definitely have to come back and get another meal. Thank you guys!

The food is AMAZING j*** chicken was 10/10 for tenderness and flavor! Just wish there was more music giving it a more authentic feel but food is top tier :)

This place has been clutch for a minute. Find me a better oxtail in the city than here? Rice and cabbage are tasty.Only gripe, is that sometime the things you're craving are out. Good for them, not so much good for you when your mind is set.Rating: 4 - 4.5

Horrible food and custome service. I ordered j*** pork and was given brown stew chicken..okay honestly people make mistakes. I take it back up and the woman literally gets the cook just to add four pieces of pork on top of this meal after I spent almost $18 bucks for a large j*** pork not brown stew chicken with pork placed on top. on top of it the pork was not good neither was the chicken..is not authentic tasting..ugh I wish I could find some REAL jamaican cuisine.

The taste is is decent. It’s gonna be the best in Austin. Also their large serving of oxtail is about 1/2 lb and 1lb of rice.

The food is good. Prices have increased as expected. Yet some dishes increased by $7.00. Also, their sales tax is beyond the max tax rate of 8.25%, for Texas, its actually 1.25%. Do the math yourself and check your receipt if you get one.

Y'all, go here. The food is clearly made with love and care. Having a fantastic meal from Tony's right now. So delicious and comforting. The plantains are beautifully caramelized. The chicken brown stew is tender, and the flavor is top notch. You have to take a big spoonful of the rice at once because it is so satisfying and well seasoned. Hello to my friend, Ricardo! Sorry I didn't stick around to tell you this in person. I'll be back!

sorry but spending over $25 bucks for a "large portion and getting a TINY amount of actual meet and mostly rice is just not worth it.
