I finally did one of the most Austin/McConaughey things I could do. I stopped at Top Notch Burgers in North Austin and snatched up the famous jalapeƱo burger and fries that apparently Wooderson ordered in the 90s movie classic Dazed and Confused. The burger joint with dine in and carry out still has the drive in options creating a classic throwback serving fast and delish eats. Whether youāre visiting Austin or live here, if you donāt have this in your list of places to hit up, as Wooderson would say, āitād be a lot cooler if you didā.

I have passed by a few times. Today I decided to give it a shot. Its an old drive in that still functions! The menu is packed with items I wanted to try. I got the #4 Combo, Longhorn special. I am a sucker for Vanilla Malt shakes so I had to get one when I saw it on the menu. Absolutely not disappointed! From the service to the food everything was exceptional! Now Top Notch is on my burger joint rotation in Austin.
