Been loving torchys since I first tried it in 2011 after moving to Austin; a cashier back then said I went to Torchys more than him. The Trashy Trailer Park is one of my favorite tacos. BUT switching to putting sauce on the tacos (only when staying to eat) is really confusing; now I have to say no ranch on my taco only when eating there. Not sure if this is a freshness or less sauce/container waste switch, but definitely not liked.
If it was nearly any other sauce it wouldn't be a big deal, but I don't want ranch on my taco, let alone on a chicken and queso taco.
I politely talked to the cashier lady and she seemed annoyed that I didn't know they come with ranch now (they don't when getting to-go). They made it again but then delivered a non-Trashy Trailer Park; and she dropped it off and sped off. It's my favorite taco, so while it seems minor, it was very frustrating that they really struggled just get me an original, non-ranch TTP. Disappointing experience.

I love Torchy's and this is easily my favorite on in TX! This team provides the the best customer service and the food is amazing. I always get brushfire tacos, and the diablo sauce that comes with it is phenomenal. I've been coming here for many years and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work!

Torchy's is always a good option. I can't remember if I had the Democrat before, but this time it missed the mark. The barbacoa was not very good. The Trailer Trash however was as good as ever!

METAL BALLS IN MY SALSA. On 11/8/25, I went through the drive thru and ordered salsa & queso. Salsa had metal balls in it the size of BBs, one was in my 11 yr son in his mouth.
I alerted the General Manager, who knew exactly what I was talking about and said it was emulsifier blender that broke and salsa should have been thrown out day prior.
I was told I would get a refund. It's 5 days later still never have received a refund. I'm very disappointed!
I was looking for some tasty mexican food and this one is perfect! Loved their brushfire taco 🤩

Im not sure how I put 2 stars. I meant to put 5 stars. I thought it was incredible! I was trying to make it back up there tonight but it closed before I could get there. The staff were super nice and helpful. The food was mind blowing.
