Came in for a quick bite. It's been a long time since I was last at a Torchy's since it's not really my style of taco. Looked at the board for a minute and was waiting to place my order before I realized it - they don't have people working at the registers any more. I fumbled around on the screen looking for the queso and taco I wanted. Finally found it. Ordered, paid, sat down, and waited. The food came out cold, as if the meat had been just sitting on a counter all day without even the dignity of a heat lamp. It was also really greasy.
Won't be coming back. We got tacos at home.

Cold tacos the first time shame on them, cold tacos the second time shame on me. Great place and all the other torchy’s are good but if you don’t go during the rush the chicken tacos are strait up refrigerated cold at the bellterra location.

Good breakfast tacos
I love Torchys, been going since they existed. This particular location has struggled but is much improved. Food has become more consistent, automated checkout up front has improved the ordering experience and cut the line down. Still room for improvement as the staff walks around almost clueless to where people are to deliver food and more mistakes than the other locations.
The 5 rating assumes they'll continue to improve and meet the standard set by the brand, trending in the right direction!

This location has a stupid kiosk instead of a real human to take your order. Unless you have a simple, one-item order, it’s an awful, balky, and unnecessarily frustrating process. It’s just another way of a company saying ‘we hate our customers.’
I’m a Torchy’s regular, and if the location near me (Katy) puts in a kiosk, I’m out

Spent over 10m standing at a computer kiosk trying to sign up for an account so that I could get the queso day discount. Their online form doesn’t work. None of the other 5 customers there could get the kiosk working either. What the heck torchys? You go national and lose your way. You’d be better off sticking to one food truck on South First. What a shame. I bet the founder loses sleep over selling out.

We go to Torchy's Belterra every weekend. It's become our go to place for delicious tacos and drinks. Our regular bartender Chito always greets us with a smile and is very pleasant to talk with. Please keep him on staff.

Sarah & the team at Torchy’s are always amazing! Food is great (bring back the Tokyo Drifter permanently!). The kids love the activities/ special events they’ve been doing as well. But the hillbilly queso & tacos will always be my favorites. Keep being great Torchy’s!
