Torchy's has decent tacos. It's not the most consistent place for me. One visit tacos are great, next visit they might be kind of bland. I like their creative tacos, but the menu is limited and gets old eating regularly. The queso is always good. A note of warning though, the queso automatically comes with a good splash of Diablo sauce.

Julian is great! I come a lot. Marina is also lovely. Everyone here is very nice. It’s always cool on a hot day and I love me some queso and tacos.

Just had lunch at Torchys on S Lamar and it was fabulous. I asked Julian which was better- the chicken fajita or steak taco. He recommended the chicken, and I ended up getting both. The chicken was so good, I the whole thing and didn’t have room for the steak taco! That is now dinner!
