This is a gem (joya) of Cuban food in Austin. It reminds me of eating cuban food in Miami. The staff is always attentive and with a smile. Their arroz con pollo.(rice with chicken) is absolutely yummy. You can order a delicious large hot cafe con leche and cuban toast (tostadas cubanas). I highly recommend to go eventhough its in a hidden area its a treasure here in Austin. Also thanks for always making me delicious cafe con leche ☕😊

Quaint strip mall restaurant. People working are kind and accommodating. We went in during a Monday afternoon, Happy hour was beer and I wish they had a proper happy hour menu with some cocktails and small bites but that is just my preference. We got the appetizer sampler and were extremely satisfied. Since we loved it we had to try a few more things went to look at their gorgeous pastry case and I would love to just go back for coffee and a pastry but instead got a coconut cake...

My partner and I stopped by for a quick dinner before a concert. My partner, who lived in Cuba for much of his life, recalled how the meal (the congri in specific), reminded him of home cooked meals with his grandmother. Melissa and Emma both waited on us and were friendly. We even got to try their new pumpkin flan which was just sweet enough! Definitely recommend a stop here
