I like that they serve healthier food, including air-fried food (like fries and chicken). They also have really good mocktails (I had the spicy clean marg). However, I don't recommend the chicken sandwich - not only was the chicken fillet really dry, but the whole sandwich was. A couple of pickles, a little bit of sauce. Not a great sandwich. The fries were crunchy, not crispy, and lacked flavor. I probably won't go back.

Mid week so quite empty which is fine, however, I had to literally get up to find somebody to refill water. Ordered the grain bowl with chicken, portion is small and the chicken was so very dry, had to chew a while. The server said the pesto dressing was a drizzle but it was actually a scoop that took a big portion of the small bowl. Overall, disappointing food and service, especially for the price point. Many other choices probably wouldn't be my choice to go back.

Service was incredibly slow. Took forever to take our orders. Drinks came out well after appetizers and were not accurate.

We dined at True Food Kitchen for a friend's birthday, a party of seven including kids. It was about 95° outside, and while we appreciated being seated early, the experience quickly turned into the single most appalling service I've ever received at a restaurant. Our waiter, a bald gentleman in his 40s, immediately set the tone with no greeting, no warmth—just a cold “Do you want water? What do you want to eat?” From there, things only deteriorated. After placing our order, we did not see food—or our waiter—for over an hour. In the sweltering heat, we had to flag down other servers just to refill water. Our own waiter ignored us entirely, and when pressed about our food, dismissed us with vague “it's coming” remarks while visibly standing inside, avoiding our table. When food finally arrived, it came in scattered intervals—two plates at a time—forcing some guests to wait nearly 30 minutes while others ate. One guest never received food at all. At no point did our waiter apologize, show empathy, or demonstrate professionalism. Instead, he acted inconvenienced by our concerns and, shockingly, responded with, “Do you want your check or not?” when we asked for help. When we requested a manager, the waiter told us he was “busy” and repeated, “Do you want your check or not?” We eventually had to find the manager ourselves. During that conversation, the waiter escalated his behavior, circling us repeatedly, walking through our discussion multiple times in a way that felt harassing and intimidating. His actions bordered on hostility and his pathetic attempts at making us two moms uncomfortable failed but were still noted The only positive of the night was the manager, who handled the situation with empathy and professionalism. Still, the fact that this individual is allowed to interact with guests is beyond comprehension. He lacked basic hospitality, respect, and self-awareness. This was not just poor service—it was appalling, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.

This is my first time to try this restaurant. My husband has food, allergies and the chef catered my husband's meal to his needs. Everything was delicious and fresh. We will be back!

Im never disappointed whenever I go to True Foods. This was a new location for me and it was consistent with the other one on West Street. Ambiance is fun and lively.

Food wasn't as good as it has been in the past. We all ordered the same meals we usually get and noticed that the plating was a little sloppy, the food was lukewarm and it just didn''t taste the same as last time. I'm a die hard True Food Kitchen fan so it was a bit disappointing.

The table fries were recommended by the server and on a menu advertisement but they're cold, didn't have as much seasoning as the photos (could hardly taste them), and not enough sauce for sharing.

True food provides a laid back atmosphere with great dining options, especially if you have any restrictions like gluten. The service is always top notch, and the food is reliably delicious. Definitely a favorite for a quick after work bite.

Always excellent food. We really enjoyed their specialty iced teas. Our server, Kyleah was an absolute gem. We’ve eaten there several times during the off lunch hour, and she was there to serve us. Very charming person and great upbeat attitude. KyLeah verified with the kitchen any allergies that I or my daughter had to ensure we were safe to eat a certain meal. We much appreciate her careful concerns.

This was me and my hubby's first time here this past weekend and I was SO disappointed! I got a grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun with a kale salad that came with the sandwich. The bun on the sandwich was SO HARD my jaw literally Still hurts a few Days later from trying to wrestle with it (and I didn't even eat Half of it!) The waitress even admitted that was just how the GF buns are made and they are Very hard. The tiny salad was completely limp and dry like it had been sitting out for awhile so I asked for fries instead hoping at least those would help the sting of this $60+ meal ticket. I waited forever for the fries and then they were So salty I couldn't eat those either. I wanted a refund but decided to just cut my losses and never come back 😕

Great tasting food with unique flavors and would recommend, however:

My wife and I have ordered various appetizers each time we have gone (Hummus & Pita or Guacamole), and chips/pita serving sizes are always 1/3 of what's needed to finish the dip, always have to ask for more to finish the appetizer, but any additional pita/chips is an additional cost.
