Called in takeout order and when I picked it up they had put the hot food in with the sushi so just a suggestion that they keep the hot food away from the raw sushi. I took it back and they remade it. Food is

Service was super slow, understaffed, but also just not managing the flow effectively. Tempura was fantastic but the rolls looked better than they tasted. A bit bland. Was overcharged for an appetizer. Was hoping for more. Maybe it was just an off night. That happens.

The food is excellent! I’m picky about sushi and this is the best I’ve found. The portions are generous and the prices very reasonable. Flavor is very authentic. Everything, including the sauces, is homemade and special. We’ll be back!!

Amazing sushi. But more importantly, the service!! Our server saw that what we ordered would actually be less expensive if we switched to the "all you could eat" tab. It was our first time, and we would have never known the difference. I will definitely be making this our go to sushi spot.

Great spot for all you can eat real sushi. $36 for adults $18 for 9 and under kids.
Solid sashimi only available a la carte.
Don’t sleep on this unassuming but yummy strip mall spot in the upper northeast corner of ATX.
Vegetarian options: Only really good for pescatarians
Dietary restrictions: Great for keto or paleo if you do sashimi.
Parking: Free lot for the strip mall it is in.
Kid-friendliness: My kids LOVED this spot. For under 9 years old it’s only$18 for the all you can eat option. 10 and up pay the adult price of $36
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible- didn’t see bathroom though

Recommended dishes: Salmon Sashimi, All You Can Eat Sushi, Edamame, Tuna, Gyoza
Smelled like sewer walking through the door, didn't get food poisoning though. The veggies were watery, the chicken was ok, the tuna sashimi was great, the tea tasted burned and the asian waitress spent all of her time at the Asian tables, I had to literally yell for her to get so much as a refill when the table right next to us had everything they needed or could ever want. Spent 70 dollars here and hated every minute of it. Will not return. Sell it back to Einstein's bagels.

The salmon was good. The rice was fine. But if you cannot cook something properly, then simply do not put it on the menu. The owner came out and tried to tell me that they could not cook the 'calamari' tender because of the batter... Like that was some sort of excuse for serving tire rubber.
The miso soup was flavorless with refrigerator cold tofu bits. This place was good five years ago. Today... Give it a miss.

Hands down this is the best quality AYCE sushi spot in Austin, Sushi Junai and Sushi Bang Bang pale in comparison. Everything I had was delicious, and their Spicy Garlic Edamame is probably one of my new favorites of all the spice edamame in Austin, it has a unique dried red chili flavor that’s just amazingly addictive. They also offered four types of gyoza, tried the shrimp and the pork and both were homemade and weren’t the standard frozen gyoza commonly offered in places offering AYCE. Had two large rounds of nigiri and all were super fresh, they even had hirame which I don’t think I’ve seen on any AYCE menu in town. The Bonsai Roll with the red vinegar was outstanding. I live in south Austin but I’ll be back, and I’ll tell all my friends too!
