Tumble 22 - Texas Chicken Joint

Tumble 22 has some of the most tender and juicy chicken I’ve tried. Both the meat and breading are well marinated. The ability to choose your level of spiciness is great. Service is spot on. Highly recommended.

Got food poisoning from this place the last time I went. Cleanliness seems to be a significant issue in the kitchen. Very unfortunate as it was one of my regular spots.

Best nashville hot chicken!! The chicken is always so well fried - crispy but moist inside. I've had the sandwiches, tenders, and the bone-in mixes, and they're all good. Their seasonal menus are always a hit too!

I got the dang and cluckin' hot and they weren't too spicy - just the right amount.

I'm usually not a mac-n-cheese person but theirs is SO GOOD. Make it dirty and it's even better. Their beans are good too!

It was good but not great. Chicken was juicy but no flavor . Felt like it needed a sauce on the side … I want to like this place and will come back to try other sandwiches. Our servers were friendly but they kind of forgot about us after the took our drink order. I guess they got mixed up since two people kept switching with the tables in our area.

I didn't like my server at all. Short hair lady. I guess she disliked me too, based off how rude she was for no reason. I had a bone in my chicken strip, not joking. The chicken is big and juicy, but I'm not huge on the flavors. It's a bit overpowering, and always upsets my stomach.

I typically like Tumble 22, but this location must be poorly managed. Our server looked and acted like she couldn't care less about being there and kept walking over to another table where other servers (who were on shift) were sitting and visiting with a friend (in the main dining room). We had to ask for the items we ordered, and she brought the wrong drink. It wasn't busy. We didn't end up receiving everything we ordered, and she didn't adjust our bill when asked. I doubt we'll return to this location.

I had an order for pickup. The macaroni and cheese was good, but i couldn’t eat the chicken because they put sliced pickles in the bottom of the container and threw the chicken right on top. I’m allergic to pickles. I suggest that they either ask customers if the want pickles, or at least put the pickles in those little 2oz sauce containers. Even if people aren’t allergic not everyone eats them and it ruins the chicken. My daughter said she couldn’t taste the flavor of the chicken because it taste like pickles.

Very good and Moist Chicken!! Got the 2 Chicken Tender Combo, and luckily hit Happy Hour to get a side as well. All the food was great and very quick service! Recommend the Hot Honey and BBQ Sauce, would definitely come again whenever I visit here.

Everything about this place is perfect. The chicken...delicious. The atmosphere...so relaxed. The staff...first friendly encounter we've had in Austin and we've been here 3 days. You won't be disappointed with this place!
