Wow! The chicken flautas are light and crispy, and the asada and al pastor tacos are perfect. It's a great location under the tree canopy where you can hear live music if your timing is right.

Had all 4 of their taco offerings and all 4 where salty with the carne asada being the worst offender. Their barbacoa was decent but unfortunately salty. There expensive for small street tacos. Did I mention the salt? I wasn't expecting much from Wimberly in the way of tacos and I'm sad to have been right.

Edit: Came to the new Wimberly location and these tacos still slap. Best in Texas.

Old review:
Coming from a taco snob, this is top 3 best tacos in Austin. I'd have to eat top 3 side by side to rank properly. Idk which is their best taco, the Al Pastor or the Carnitas.

Their Al Pastor is top 2 along with Paprika ATX.

It's the type of tacos you still think about later.
