I’ve been in twice now and both times I felt rushed to order when there was no one else in line. Both times the people behind the counter were not super friendly. The items I ordered today were quickly shoved in a bag and my sausage roll was cold. It tasted great, but I would have at least liked the option to have it heated up. The cheese danish was delicious, though. Overall I wish the atmosphere of this bakery was more welcoming.

We ordered cakes for our wedding and they were wonderful! Delicious, well balanced and interesting flavors. Uppercrust is really easy to order from and reliable.

The savory croissants are not stored safely here and I got food poisoning from them. I wouldn’t have minded if it had at least tasted good.

Upper Crust is next-level Delish! Their quiches, savory & sweet croissants and cinnamon rolls are the Best in Austin! We also adore the kind, cool employees & adorable space in Rosedale. Highest recommendation.

The best bakery in Austin! I have been coming here for 20 years and always has been 5 stars. The pastries and sandwiches are so good. The croissants are so fresh. I also love the cinnamon rolls - they are flaky and perfect for any time of day

This place is great if you need a quick bakery fix; however, beware of the confusing parking lot and prepare to be rushed when ordering. The reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the ordering process is extremely rushed. There’s almost always a line and I like to view what’s actually in the bakery case and/or the lunch menu yet it’s difficult to view either if there’s a long line - then you’re immediately asked what you want yet you haven’t been able to view anything. In short, it’s a bit unorganized and hectic which makes for a 4 star experience. Also a chocolate layer in the coconut cream pie? Not my favorite, but an experience.

Parking: Parking in the back is a narrow quasi one way that abruptly turns into a two way so it’s confusing - be very careful and take your time when finding parking. There’s parking in the front, but it backs onto busy Burnet so not my first choice.

This quaint bakery has been serving up delicious pastries, quiche and coffee for many years now. They offer comforting low key vibes and attentive service. Good parking and prices. Don’t miss the schnecken, brioche, croissants, cinnamon rolls…pretty much everything. Pro tip: take your breakfast to go and drive to Mount Bonnell. Climb a few steps and enjoy breakfast with a stunning view of Austin.

Soup selection is on point. Lentil soup has tons of flavor. The pastries are tasty and the cakes are delicious too. Lunch time is a good time to go. Austin gem.
