It was good to see older buildings and establishments revamped to be something besides being torn down and turned into condos. Worth visitng once in a while, but it is definitely not a neighborhood place to visit frequently. Great cocktails, good food, and wonderful service. It's a little pricey, but that's Austin now.
had a great experience at USC! Collin provided great service and was super playful and kind. There was a complication with my order and he was able to take care of it, which made my day. HE was reassuring and an awesome service king. thanks again for USC I will definitely be back :)
I don't usually leave reviews, but had to let the public know about my first time going to USC. We had Collin as our server and I could not sing his praises enough. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and patient. He was able to manage a menu blip we had with grace and understanding. Might just be the best service in Austin (coming from a native). I will absolutely be back and would recommend ten-fold to anyone looking for delicious food, drinks, and service.
Love this place, the food is so good and the service is great. My only reason to not give it 5 stars is because they’re called a sports club but they have 2 TVs in the entire place and that doesn’t make it a great place to watch games.
I love this place. If I lived close enough to walk here I would go broke.
Let's start food - everything I've gotten here has been great. Not pictured but tried - the po boy is something to write home about fo sho. I've had that a time or two...or three... We've also happened to Sunday Funday brunch it with the kiddos which almost broke the bank lol. Who knew they had caviar, crudo, beef tartare - all well played out by the way.
The place has a fun vibe when you walk in. Almost like an elegant casual. You can class it up in the booth or counter style it at the bar and kitchen. The outside lends to the sports club part of the name as they had a huge TV for my son to watch Sunday football.
We came here on a Friday for the first time while hopping around East 6th for drinks and we had the BEST service!! The staff was so welcoming and explained the theme of the restaurant to us and we loved it: Very well running new establishment. Also would like to shout out our bartender (because we sat at the bar) Bridget!!! She was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back again,
I highly recommend the Oysters and Espresso Martinis! When you get the Espresso Martini ask for it to be made with Espresso verse cold brew. They do both and the Espresso martini with actual espresso is significantly superior.
This place is great for a casual date or on Sunday evening they do a more upscale intimate dining experience called Supper Club that you don’t typically find on the East Side!

Atmosphere was throwback 80's it was great! The food was mediocre, and it was a ½ sandwich and fries. Fries were 10/10!! Would come for those specifically and only. Thank you for the experience wasn't for us...

Use to like this place, until I just got charged $16 for a Bloody Mary. Good riddance.

My wife and I went for dinner and I have to say we were extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. The food was definitely forgettable and over priced. We started with the smoked trout dip which came with a bag of Zapp’s chips in the bag, this is an $18 appetizer mind you. It came up looking like my mom’s tuna salad and not tasting much better. Then there was my Roast Beef sandwich, which was even wetter than the trout dip. It was messy and bland. My wife got the burger which she said was nothing special. The cocktails were sub $20 and they were out of the the ingredients for the first two I wanted. I tried the mezcal cocktail and it honestly tasted like a watered down margarita. We won’t be going back.

Same $15 drinks they have everywhere else with the gross dried out limes. Not great for kids. Burger was way above average but took a bit to come out. Decent service.
Kid-friendliness: It’s not.

Server didn't bring an item we ordered, no big deal. I've ordered takeout multiple times so knew it was great food. Will sit outside next time cause the difference was night & day or as I said, like being at DA Club or the library. Extremely loud inside.
