USA HALAL - Mediterranean Food

USA HALAL is an absolute gem and a must-stop if you’re visiting Austin, TX! The food here is incredibly delicious and packed with flavor, perfectly spiced, and super fresh. My husband and I ordered the beef plate (#4), which comes with rice and a side salad, and the combination was just perfect. The freshness of the salad paired with the savory beef and fluffy rice made for an amazing meal.
One thing to note: the food does take a little while to prepare, so be patient. It’s all made fresh, and you can really taste the difference. If you're in a rush, I’d recommend ordering ahead, but honestly, the wait is totally worth it.
We’re already planning to stop by again on our way back to Houston. Highly recommend checking this place out.You won’t be disappointed!

Was in Downtown Austin and trying to find a food truck to eat at. Couldn't find anything on Google so decided to ride by UT and hit the Drag. Until I stumbled on this GEM. Prices were Reasonable and the food was DELICIOUS will MOST DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN.

Last night I ordered a falafel snack plate and a lamb kabob plate. About an hour and a half after eating I got an extremely painful cramping stomach ache with a massive headache, literally my whole body was shaking cause my stomach hurt so bad. Caused me some really bad diarrhea and I threw up several times, also made me very dehydrated. I was in the bathroom for 3 AND A HALF HOURS! The food was extremely salty, I'm just going to say it I have a blood pressure problem and it is dangerous putting so much salt in your food, made me dizzy even after taking my medicine. I had only eaten 2 times yesterday and know for a fact the food from here is what caused it, I had not eaten in 10 hours before coming here. I will never eat here again. I am going to look into getting a full refund.

The 3 stars is because it is never opened when it says it is online. I love the gyro fries, extra sauce but every time I go sometimes 30 minutes out of my way in Austin traffic, it’s not open. Please update the hours online! Thank you!

The owner operates and chefs this super convenient (for me) Halal trailer. Open late food is consistent and always available. Once you get to know the gentleman you are treated like family. Lamb kabob with rice. Spicy !! Get it.
