Vasquez has great tex mex. I only wish they had homemade flour tortillas. In Austin, you can get away with this. In San Antonio or South Texas, they would call this very lazy.
This is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants. They have stayed tried to true Mexican cuisine. Not dressed up TexMex, but good Mexican dishes. I highly recommend them and the ladies that serve you treats you like family.
The food is really good and if you like the Mango Margaritas you gotta try them you won't regret it. The waitresses are always on top of everything and very polite. That's my spot to go too when I'm in the area which is a lot. I highly recommend Vasquez #3

Excellent selection of food. Loved the street tacos and came back for brunch. The staff is friendly and food came out within minutes of ordering. Just deliciousā¦.Love this place!!!
The cashier who helped me was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, she had a bad attitude, barely responded when I spoke, and made me feel like I was bothering her. There was no friendliness or basic customer service at all. Honestly, people like that shouldnāt be working with the public. Very bad experience, and I definitely wonāt be coming back.

I have driven by this place thousands of times...where have I been? After trying Vazquez #1 last Sunday for breakfast, my curiosity got the best of me. There are three of them, and #3 is in my backyard! I just woofed down a delicious lunch while being treated with the red carpet treatment from the lovely, and attentive, Mari. Thank you, Mari and Vazquez #3 ...it couldn't have been better!

Super affordable, authentic Mexican tacos, perfect tortillas at a insanely great price. Can't recommend them enough, easily the best breakfast tacos ive had in Austin!! I ordered a large menudo with a side of rice. The menudo was ok, thereās tons of other places with more flavor in the menudo. But I give this place one star because I ordered a side of Mexican rice and it hard! Like the rice was not cooked right! I have never been to an authentic Mexican restaurant and the rice was hard. I literally couldnāt eat it so the waitress took it off the bill. The only other Mexican food Iāve had that had hard and non edible rice was chipotle. And thatās far from authentic Mexican food. So if you want mediocre Mexican food go here
Service is awful too. The waitress are too busy talking in the front then checking on us. My fiancĆ© had to get up to get their attention after like 30 mins. They donāt care about their jobs at all
