some of the best Mexican food around Austin, been going since I was a kid and the food has only improved since then. the breakfast tacos are killer and the servers are always kind and thoughtful. if you want some authentic Mexican food in north Austin this is the place to go.
When you arrive, there is a homestyle feel to the atmosphere. The waitresses are friendly and can assist you in whatever you need. Then, they bring out complimentary salsa that has a lot of zing to it with a phenomenal flavor. The menus are crystal clear about what you're getting and the price. Once you order, the food is out quicker than you're used to and it is hot enough to eat, but not hot enough to burn yourself. I had the barbacoa plate and it came with 4 tortillas,...
Very good food served fresh and hot by happy servers. Love the salsa!! And the carne guisada. And the migas breakfast tacos. Prices are about the same as everywhere else but the portions are healthy. And I like that over the years, they are constantly upgrading the restaurant.
