The breakfast was sublime! The Moroccan mint tea was perfect for the morning. I had the scrambled eggs, toast with butter, bacon, and seasoned cut potatoes. As a side I enjoyed the yogurt parfait with granola and fresh fruit. As a final course I indulged in Mexican style churro pancakes. The ambiance is comfortable and relaxed while being elevated and the service from the manager and the server was amazing! Had a great meal here: would recommend everyone to come here! Thank you Verbena Austin TX!
Awful food. Extremely long wait time even though we were literally the only people there. Do not dine here.
Toni was amazing and so sweet—made my husbands bday special:) very sweet and attentive.

We had a wonderful dining experience, made even better by our waitress, Toni. She was incredibly personable, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Toni checked in at just the right times, had a great attitude, and genuinely seemed to care that we enjoyed our meal. Her friendly personality and professionalism really stood out and added to the overall experience. We'll definitely be back and hope to be seated in her section again!
My date and I had a lovely time at Verbena. The ambience was cozy, elegant, and intimate. The restaurant is unassuming as it's connected to the lobby of Canopy by Hilton. Valet is $12 only for Verbena guests btw. If you use the website menu, there's lots of pictures of the menu items which were all helpful and beautiful. We had the guac (so pretty and fresh), pulpo enamorado (one of my faves because I loveeeee octopus), roasted maple carrots (very artsy), carnitas flatbread (savory pizza), birria dumplings (gotta bite and then dip in the sauce for added flavor but definitely innovative twist on 2 cuisines), barbacoa (MUST ORDER OMG I DREAM OF THIS), and the calabaza cinnamon roll (delish massive dessert). The level of presentation of all the dishes also made the dinner feel so fancy. It's definitely a nice place to have a special meal. We were stuffed! The timing of the food and the service by our server, Toni, was also fantastic. Definitely ask for her! She was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Overall, it's an upscale Mexican-influenced aesthetic menu with lots of flavor. Will definitely revisit with friends and/or family.
We loved our time and our dinner at Verbena, our server, Maddie, was fantastic and did an amazing job!
Exceptional service from Toni for New Year’s Eve party of 13! Food looks small in photos but it they were generous portions. Plates are big! Yum. Thanks Toni. Main entrees ordered were Beef Tenderloin (Medium Rare) and Beef Cheeks. We also got salad and guac not pictured.

tried to get service and get any waiters attention and was unsuccessful. had a reservation and we were ignored for 20 minutes before deciding to leave.
We had our New Year's Eve dinner at Verbena, and as always, this place never disappoints. We arrived a bit before our reservation and started the evening with drinks at the bar, which were excellent and set the tone for the night. For dinner, we chose the prix fixe menu, and several dishes truly stood out. The escolar with maracuyá sauce was outstanding, the fish was buttery, and the sauce was such a perfect match that I honestly wished I had a spoon to finish every last bit. I will dream about this dish. The chistorra Cassoulet with foie gras was another highlight. So rich and flavorful that we had to ask for extra bread just to make sure nothing was left behind. The duck was beautifully cooked, tender, and perfectly executed. Dessert was the pavlova, and it was the ideal way to end the meal, light, balanced, and delicious. Even though the restaurant wasn't open for the midnight countdown, we still had a wonderful time. Our server, Tony, was very attentive throughout the evening, and it was a lovely touch when the chef came by our table to say hello. We love Verbena and will always keep coming back!
Very nice experience, the biriani dumplings were very savory nicely spicy. The dos moles was very good - coloradito mole was lighter in color and flavor than most restaurant moles. The pork chop with grave glaze was cooked over a wood fired grill (we watched) - very nice. Dessert affogato was a great finish, a scoop of Mexican vanilla ice cream served with a side shot of espresso to pour over. We went back for breakfast.

I recently threw a party for my wife's birthday! We rented out the bar. I can tell you that this party went PERFECTLY. The food was excellent, the bar tenders were incredible but the star of the show was Amanda! We worked together for a couple months to pull this off and she was amazing. Incredibly responsive, helped guide me through the process and most importantly she is a really great person. She actually showed up just to make sure everything went well and added some personal touches to our room and the party that we didn't ask for but it made all the difference. If you are ever looking to throw a party, I highly recommend working with Amanda and Verbena! I couldn't be happier with the experience!
