We had a really great server, who even kept us updated that the kitchen was a little behind. The wait wasn't bad; I didn't even realize they were taking too long. The food itself was generic and not particularly flavorful. I also didn't see any evidence of “fusion.” The drinks were not something I'd order again. In good weather, the enclosed patio is a very nice space.

I searched for a middle of the road price range restaurant for a team meal. This place over delivered. Service was fantastic, food was stunning and great value for money!

I enjoyed a nice solo dinner here. Started with the citrus salad and birria dumplings. Citrus salad was so fresh and tasty. Birria dumplings were a unique twist on traditional birria. For the entree I had the Mole. Amazing flavor and great last bite for this place. 10/10 for me

Verbena is so easy. Easy to drop in for a meal or a drink and well located. Nice vibe. There are some very interesting mocktails on the menu, too.

Nice fufu place downtown. The bartenders were nice and the guitar player was good. Drinks were reasonable ($7 for beer, more for something stronger. If you're from San Diego or NYC, you'll be shocked at how cheap everything is. Give the bartenders/bartendtesses/waitstaff a good tip.)
