Everything was outstanding as Vespaio always is. This was possibly our final visit before Vespaio closes 2/28/2026. No more reservations are available. We will try to do a walk-in visit towards the end of February. Vespaio has been one of Austin's most outstanding restaurants since it opened in 1998. We had an outstanding experience at Vespaio for my husband's birthday dinner last night. The staff were so kind and gracious, and we had excellent service from our waiter, Daniel. Everything tasted wonderful, and the ambience of the space was lovely. We had the Suppli, Texas Strawberries Salad, Lasagne alla Bolognese (definitely big enough for us to share) and the Tiramisu. We always enjoy our experience at Vespaio. Pastas are amazing - we love trying the specials and the original favorites. Carpaccio is a must. The zuppa was amazing. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.
