Good family family-owned place serving Austin style barbecue. Had to get the beef ribs before leaving Texas. Not seasoned well. The brisket was another story. That one was flavorful. Customer service was superb but located in a sketchy neighborhood.
I agree that prices are fairly high here. I thought the food was fine but not worth driving to or even returning. Their plates come with sweet tea and you can't substitute it for anything else. Chopped Beef Sandwich, one side, and a sweet tea is 15 bucks on special. You can get more for 15 around town.
Well, well, well. Great ribs, brisket, mac and cheese, and fixings. The staff so friendly and accommodating even the man taking the orders. And the two ladies were so sweet and kind. My new go to place. My little eating emporium in the corner. The interior was so retro.
