We are so sad Vince Young is closed. We went yesterday on the last day. This place holds special memories for us and it's sad to see it close. Our server Fred was kind and provided excellent service. I hope he's able to find success elsewhere.

Awesome experience with incredible service. Food was great. The frozen banana pudding was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Will be sorry to see this Austin staple disappear. Only downside was it took 50 minutes for food to come out. But the service made up for it!

One of our Austin go to restaurants. Was busier than usual likely because of the impending closure. Waiter was nice, but had comments on all the meal choices (trying to be funny); the service was slower than expected. But the food was outstanding as usual. We will miss Vince Young Steakhouse very much. All the best to the owners' new endeavors!

We went one final time before the restaurant closed. VY's has been one of our favorites for many years and we are sad to see it go. Food was amazing - we had the NY strip, a small filet and the scallops; Brussel sprouts and corn/bacon for sides. Everything was very good! Only inconvenience was they were out of tea (?) and several appetizers and entrees were unavailable. I suppose not surprising due to pending closure.

Food was good. My group had variety of appetizers, entrees, sides and desserts. I polled everyone and was given “thumbs up” across the board. My son said his burger was a little well done but the flavor made him forget about that quickly. Service was just so-so. I’m hesitant to complain as I know being a server is not easy. I did feel that our server was having a bad day. Not sure if it was staffing issue or backup in the kitchen or combo of both? The atmosphere kind of lended to my comments about the service. It was quite busy inside and it also was loud. Overall I’d say my rating was closer to 3.5 than 4.
