Vincent’s is your quintessential South Austin neighborhood bar but totally in a class of its own. This place checks every box: great atmosphere and killer staff, solid menu options with excellent food and a colorful cast of characters populating the stools who will take you in as one of their own. Not kidding, the regulars here are super friendly and welcoming which isn’t always the case in similar establishments where folks can tend to be territorial. I’d spent time here in the past but have enjoyed showing my face more often recently.

It’s too bad this could be an awesome place. They have good cold beer, decent food, and good service. However, they have loud obnoxious music, you can’t talk, and dogs inside…bad ideas. Looks dirty. They lost our business.

Update: 10-29-2025 - I see Vincents repsonded. To clarify my OP, we went at 11am and were the only customers in the entire place when Mgmt informed us of the no kids policy. Did your policy change?

March 2019 - NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY & NO Kids allowed on weekends or after 4pm Monday - Friday. Living less than 2 miles due south of Vincent’s (same owners of Moontower Saloon on Manchaca) the wife & I decided to try them for the first time. After grabbing a booth at the back of the restaurant right when they opened, we were immediately asked to leave since it was Saturday as kids aren’t allowed. Numerous employees watched us walk in without saying anything so we embarrassingly had to walk back out the front door. We were literally the first customers of the day and I'm not sure why any of the employees who watched us walk in didn't tell us we weren't allowed to be there. It’s apparent that this rule was created intentionally to prevent familes with kids from ever going to Vincent’s. No doubt it’s their prerogative to do what they want with their business but after that experience I’m not sure we’ll ever attempt to go back. We literally felt ashamed for having a family while attempting to support a local business. It would be nice if they would update their website to convey this no kid policy as I’m sure it will save others time and embarrassment.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere…TV’s everywhere to watch a game. Food…all the food was great…only exception is I would have preferred the hamburger to be a little more well done…but all excellent! Wings were our favorite!

Great food, good value, uncomfortable indoor seating. It's a cute little neighborhood bar with friendly, helpful waitstaff. The outdoor seating is comfy.

We’ve been going to Vincent’s for 3-4 years now. Overall, the bartenders are amazing, the food is good for a sports bar, and the atmosphere fun. We visit the bar pretty frequently.

While most of the bartenders and staff are friendly, there is one bartender who forgets what customer service is, and honestly, acts like we’re lucky to be served by said person. Additionally, the pours for well or mixed drinks are short, and are not standard for serving. This has been going on for about a year with said bartender. We’ve given second and third chances, but we’re back to square one.

Considering we visit at least 4-6 times a month, we contribute to the bartenders wages and the community. Perhaps said bartender should take note that they are paid by the customers, and genuinely welcome people and not act like they care less that people attend. Old school customer service.

Rafael was a fantastic server and made sure we had everything we needed. He was quick to greet us and get us our drinks and food. I will be coming back a lot more often after the positive experience I had here.

Great place to hang out for dinner or drinks. Food was actually way better than I was expecting. Lots of options and reasonably priced.

It's nice, but small. It'd be nice if it had an outdoor game court, corn hole boards, or some indoor basketball games. I live across the street, and there's nothing enticing to get me to go there instead of places that are out of the way. So overall, it's decent, but kind of boring.
