Austin is so lucky to have this awesome bookstore and wine bar! The atmosphere is the biggest factor about this place: it’s just lovely. The music, the lighting, the historical building, the decor, and the subtle din of people enjoying themselves are all great.Wine selections have been good, and the serving size is appropriate. Not cheap but acceptable for what it is and where it is.I can’t speak to the food, but I know they have some light offerings of the charcuterie type.
We found this little place by accident after leaving the Green and White Grocery. Very relaxing little wine place that also has books. Or is it a book place that has wine? Not sure but either way totally worth the stop. Very welcoming and my favorite type of place.. quiet. ?
