I had never been here before, and we were meeting up with someone for their birthday granted. I didn't have any of the food at jewboys sliders, so I can't really say anything about the food, but the staff was fun and sociable and the place was quite nice specially with the indoor and outdoor seating and the TV is playing some damn good movies!
I've been frequenting this place for 10+ years and it hasn't really changed at all, which is a good thing. Its an unpretentious dive with decent taps, and a chill atmosphere. This building is probably bordering on historic status as far as old Austin bars go, and if this place ever tanks I will probably move away from ATX all together. VCSC, please never stop showing pirated uncensored horror movies, and please never change the jukebox. I love you.
Talk about an easy time in Austin. Come here if you need a chill evening with a small group. Staff is remarkable, drinks are affordable, and the patio is the perfect atmosphere for an easy nigh. Definitely a hidden gem.
