Saw this place on Tik tok. This place is mid. Sorry. The rice was overcooked. The beans were watery. They used american cheese. The macho nachos were probably the highlight but the portion size was laughable. Austin people have no idea what good Tex Mex is.

Very mediocre Tex-Mex at HIGH prices. Entrees were $18+ for what I think is standard U.S Foods or Sysco sourced ingredients. No fountain drinks, cans poured at table in ice glasses. Even the free salsa was kind of bad.

Nothing special. Extremely middle of the road and I’m shocked to see so many 5 star reviews.

My wife's meal was really nasty with some yucky chicken, over $50 dollar to-go order for three people. I reached out a week ago with nothing back from them so here I am. Chips, which cost $4, were crushed (not the first time) and seemed like they were collected spare chips. Once a great place, now overpriced.

Food was fine, I thought mine was ok, alot more then i expected on mine but nothing special but rest in our party liked it, service was also nothing special, what upset me but I didn't complain was yes we may have had 6 people on our table but 2 were 2 years old and a 6 years old who we did not order anything for, nor did they eat there, I mean my 6 yrs old ate a few chips (no salsa) and drank water but when the bill came I was still charged an automatic gratuity, not a big deal I was planning on tipping my usual 30% i do at other places but because of that reason I just left it at what I was automatically charged.
Really not a big deal because me myself really didn't care much for the service or the food so I wouldn't be attending in the future anyway.

Had the calabacitas and added jalapeños. Great dish. The brown rice was unexpectedly wonderful!

Fun atmosphere, great service and VERY decent more authentic TexMex. So glad we took a chance. The poblano cream sauce was everything and queso was delicious.

If you actually like this place, you obviously have never had actual Tex-Mex or grew up in Minnesota where ketchup is considered spicy or something. I ordered the puffy tacos which are essentially a white-washed version of something between a tostada and a Sope. As with most Tex-mex places, the meal came with beans and rice. The rice had zero flavor, the beans were cold and they had cold shredded cheese on them 🤷‍♂️. They didn’t even have salt at the table to make it edible. The puffy tacos were edible at best. When I explained to the waitress that I did not care for the meal, she didn’t really apologize, she went into the kitchen, came back, and said that the meal was comped, which was good because I ate very little of it and the only garbage I typically pay for is for when my trash is picked up weekly. I probably should have taken the fact that every single person dining there had milky white skin that was nearly transparent as a sign that this place was not going to be good . So I guess if you like bland, tasteless Tex-mex or if you grew up in a area of the country where Taco Bell is considered exotic and ethnic, maybe you’d like this place. For the rest of you who actually have taste buds, I recommend staying away. Taco Bell may actually be better honestly.
