Waitress just took my card tonight when ordering a drink, didn’t tell me a price or anything, just tipped herself the highest amount and handed the card back to me refusing to show a receipt. This shouldn’t be legal..
On top of that we came pretty early and had tickets only to be seated upstairs without a view, expected to watch the screen instead of stage. Why would I buy tickets if I could have just watched this on TV? Thank God some other couple let us sit at their table and we could see a tiny bit of the performance. Maybe they shouldn’t sell tickets if they can’t accommodate it
I recently attended a Bingo Loco, and while the event itself was a blast, the venue itself had a few drawbacks.
The dim lighting, especially on the second floor, made it difficult to see and had to use my flashlight on my phone to participate. The narrow, dimly lit staircase was another concern, especially for those who might have been enjoying a few drinks. Another elderly women was also complaining about this as well as we both walked down the stairs together.
The bathroom situation was also a bit inconvenient, with only two stalls available for women. Additionally, the venue felt quite freezing, even though the weather outside wasn't particularly frigid.
Despite these shortcomings, the overall atmosphere was lively, and the Bingo Loco experience itself was enjoyable. If the venue could improve the lighting, heating, and bathroom facilities, it could truly elevate the experience for future events.
Tips for Improvement:
* Brighten Up the Space: Improve the lighting, especially on the second floor, to enhance visibility.
* Warm Up the Venue: Consider adjusting the heating system to provide a more comfortable environment.
* Expand Bathroom Facilities: Increase the number of women's restrooms to avoid long lines.
* Staircase Concerns: Upgrade the lighting and handrails on the stairs to make them safer and more accessible.
the toilets are so disgusting and like in prison. one toilet has no door at all. and in 2 other toilets the door hangs at 7:30 and you can't close it properly.you say you want the tap close- they ignore it.
A joke is often a reflection of what someone truly thinks but doesn’t want to say out loud, so they hide behind humor. Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 deserves respect. Please do not support or enable this behavior; hold them accountable. If they continue to promote this racist, don’t support or attend their events.
Great looking venue, great comedy and ambience. Drinks are hella small, a double is basically a regular sized drink. Good time though!
I went to watch a Latino comics stand up show I was really excited about and was treated disrespectfully from the get go.
This place has a very strict policy of no recording, which I understand, however I was treated rudely and my belongings were policed by a very bad-mannered person at the door who ended being one of the comics.
I asked to talk to the manager. A woman came up to us, she asked what we wanted to drink, and I said I wanted to speak with the manager. She said she was the manager, I introduced myself and described what had happened. She unapologetically stated that when you buy the tickets you accept the policies of the place. I didn't buy the tickets so I was not aware of any of these policies -also, fyi, no one reads them-, so I would have appreciated to hear a brief explanation at the door of why my cellphone was taken from me and put in a pouch that couldn't be opened, why I was not allowed to get in with my backpack, and why I was asked about my smart watch's brand.
I really just wanted to leave, but came with friends. We wanted to laugh, so we stayed in the hopes the night would improve. It didn't. The comics were not funny. We left after 3 comics to eat tacos.
Went here for Emo Nite a few weeks ago and the venue was fine but I have a few concerns I wanted to highlight.
1. No one checked my bag at entry. I was the first person in line and there weren't many people so it wasn't a time constraint issue. And while I didn't have anything bad in my bag, it's the principle of the matter. If they didn't check my bag, how am I supposed to know they're checking other bags. There were no metal detectors either. Someone could have easily snuck a weapon in and caused a lot of damage.
2. $5 for a bottle of water. It's becoming more commonplace for there to be free water at shows, I've seen it at smaller venues. It's not that hard to have a jug of tap water sitting on the bar counter for patrons to take from when they're thirsty. Especially at such a high energy show like we were at. Really felt like my only options after awhile were to pass out of spend an arm and a leg for something to drink. Kind of a safety concern.
3. The bathrooms are awful. None of the stalls in the women's bathrooms close properly. I witnessed multiple girls have to have their friends hold the stalls closed for them. As for the men's, my boyfriend told me that the one singular toilet in there was clogged and had human feces in the bowl. Again, we were the first in, so how long was that sitting there? All together the bathrooms felt grimey and with the problems listed above, create a HUGE safety issue for the girls and a largely uncomfortable situation for the guys.
Four friends attended the Bingo Loco it was very fun...I highly recommend this event. The tickets are cheap and drinks are reasonably priced.
We purchased tickets to a show a couple of weeks in advance, but when we arrived the place was closed. We received no notification that the show was going to be canceled and no reimbursement or response from anyone in the company yet. I am concerned that this may be a common occurrence with this establishment because a couple of doormen near the Vulcan informed us that this was not the first time this sort of thing has happened. If I receive a response from someone at VGC, I will update to reflect that in my review.
The venue rescheduled on the day of the event and has dodged every attempt of me receiving a refund. I'll be seeking legal action if they don't respond to this. 8 tickets wasted. Phone lines "busy". Email addresses unresponsive. Contact me forum unresponsive. All information on tickets attempted and nothing. Absolutely deplorable waste of time.

Bought 11 tickets for a show on Friday night and we showed up and they had no idea what we were talking about. They said there was never a show and that we would get a refund many Sunday. I have reached out a couple of times now and still no refund or response.
$120 for 4 drinks there. They lock your phone up so you can't record Hans' terrible sets. I was a tourist and this place is definitely a trap.
We had a sick time last night at "The Kill Tony Regulars"! The peeps at the door were super quick and got us in and seated fast. There ain't a bad seat in the whole place, you can see everything from anywhere. They had a bar right there, easy to grab a drink, or you could just write your order on the ticket and they'd bring it to you. The comedians were hilarious, and the whole vibe was just awesome! We're definitely going back!
Worst staff I’ve ever experienced in a comedy show.. the comedians were engaging wit me with no disrespect or problem and they tried to kick me out twice with the hesitation of the comedians. Staff and management sucks including bad setting
definitely do not recommend this place. i’ve seen bugs, awful service and bad comedy
