“The Waffle House has been my place for comfort food since I was a kid. I've been to this Waffle House 3 times so far and it's always been a good experience. They're located near the Main Post Office on Cross Park and North East Post Office on Blackson, so whenever I need to go to either and I have money, I stop in.
I had a Pecan waffle and double hashbrowns (my usual order) and they were well prepared. The folks here are friendly and service is fast. Of the 3 in town, this one has become my favorite.“
“When I came back out to Texas, I was definitely looking forward to hitting up a Waffle House location. My son and I went to this one in Austin and it was everything I desired. Firstly, the server was great. He greeted everyone that entered and took our order quickly. The Man cheffing our food was so fast, it was on the table before we knew it. Nice! My grit bowl, with bacon and eggs( my favorite) was great and I had to have a pecan waffle with chocolate chips on it. Son had the hashbrown bowl, with sausage, cheese and eggs and a blueberry nougat waffle. I wish the bowl were bigger, as I love grits and that they had real cheeses, besides American cheese (yuck), but it's still my favorite place to eat. I'll Def be back to a Waffle House if I see one again. Sorry I forgot the photos...😁“
