The Waffle House has been my place for comfort food since I was a kid. I've been to this Waffle House 3 times so far and it's always been a good experience. They're located near the Main Post Office on Cross Park and North East Post Office on Blackson, so whenever I need to go to either and I have money, I stop in. I had a Pecan waffle and double hashbrowns (my usual order) and they were well prepared. The folks here are friendly and service is fast. Of the 3 in town, this one has become my favorite.

Came in for a bite to eat before heading home to San Antonio. We had a burger with hasbrowns and my hubby had a bkfst platter. Sorry no pics we were hungry lol. Food was good! Only issue was a little over cooked. Everything else was great. Service was good and restaurant was clean!

The food was fresh and very tasty. I know it's just waffles and breakfast sandwiches that we had but they were so delicious. The waffles were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sandwiches were toasted just right. And the coffee hit the spot. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoying. I would highly recommend this Waffle House location.

We've been coming to this location for yrs at least once a week, but the manager Alexis has a messed up attitude and had a smart mouthed to my husband. The grits had a twangy taste, bacon was half cooked, and the eggs had a weird taste. The manager Alexis was the one who cooked the food and when we asked for the bacon to be cooked a little longer she had an attitude. For me and my husband to be loyal customers to this location and be treated the way he did by Alexis is ridiculous. She even expected us to pay the bill even though we didn't eat the food. Alexis did ask if there was something she could do to fix the problem, but at that point our appetites were ruined and didn't trust eating anything after tasting the tangy/sourness in the food. A'bree (our waitress) and the other girls that were working were amazing. They were trying to accommodate us more than the manager sadly. Alexis needs to be reevaluated as manager because she definitely didn't act like a manager. The only way we'll go back is if Alexis isn't there as an employee.

Vlad the server and Melissa the manager, took a long time and did not make the order correctly. Starting with how busy they are and the little staff they use on the flat top, they don’t know how to serve a customer, it translates into extreme inefficiency, arrogance, discoordination and everything is absolutely not hygienic, that describe this place, customer service is a joke and they don’t follow the safety rules to make the food. If you don’t want to make your stomach, your pocket or your spirit sick, don’t come to this place. All bad!
