Visited Wagyu Yume at their new location on McNeil. We really enjoyed their gyudon. It reminded us of sukiyaki we got in Japan. Thinly sliced beef marinated and cooked on a bed of fluffy rice accompanied by some pickled vegetables with a hint of ginger. Yume. The corn received meh reviews from the group.
One of our favorites here in Austin! We’re so glad they relocated close to our apartment. As soon as we found out, we went straight to the food park and ordered their A5 Wagyu—my favorite! My 4th time eating thiss!! 😋🤤
I got the A5 wagyu bowl. It was so good I forgot to take a photo. The food was fantastic and the owner was so friendly! The wagyu is real Wagyu so the price felt worth it. The meat was flavor and fatty and paired so nicely with the rice. The daikon and onion pickles provided tasted fresh and sharp.
The owner was also super friendly and let us try a sample of the gyudon. I felt very welcomed and it was a perfect Sunday lunch.
