The best hostess for a wine bar ever! Amanda explained the process and selections. Will be back with groups of friends soon.

So glad I decided to "yelp" a wine bar in Austin in my downtime. Took a $7 Uber around the corner from the Austin Convention Center and got dropped off in an empty parking lot! LOL! Most people Uber or walk here because the lot is not owned by the wine bar and prices vary for the parking. The door faces the access road off of 35, so I just walked around. Anyhow, I was greeted warmly by Michelin (hope I spelled that close to correct!) even though two large parties were closing out their tab. She walked me through the concept and apologized profusely for not having any charcuterie boxes left or a food truck on site. That was a bummer because I was in need of a snack. Oh well! The variety of wines at my disposal more than made up for what it was lacking in food. I tried a couple of sweet options (the watermelon margarita was a sweet surprise!), a couple of interesting whites (a Tempranillo!), and a couple of reds, too. I wish we had one of these close to me in San Antonio. This would be my spot; no doubt!

Great wine tasting bar. Fun experience! Michelynn was a wonderful host. Choose your own wine, amount of pour. Plenty of clean glasses. Will visit again.

With the largest selection of wines on tap, there is something for everyone!

Came here with a friend visiting town for a medical conference. We wanted a place to just sit and catch up and this place was GREAT because we both love wine, and their "wine on tap" style makes it so you can try a splash of MANY different wines and get a really great tasting experience! She and I identified favorite ones very quickly and ended up drinking mostly just those, but it was fun to try a swallow of other ones too. Just beware the cost does add up faster than you think: the wines each have a different price per ounce, and you are given a magnetic card when you arrive which keeps track of your "tab" and you use the card to dispense each wine you choose, so it charges you the exact amount you're drinking per ounce. I think it could be easy to go overboard... but she and I kept ourselves reigned in; probably drank about 2 glasses worth of various wines and it cost $14-18 if I remember correctly, so not too bad. Would definitely come back again later just for the vibes!

It was okay. The best part is trying different drinks in small quantities. However, the wine tastes a little flat since it's from kegs. It was about $2 per ounce depending on the drink. It would make a fun date night. I have no desire to go back.

This place is absolutely amazing for an indecisive person like me. Being able to taste 1 ounce pours of wines was truly a game changer for me. You walk up to the different wines and they have amazing explanations. You decide what you want and pay for the pour size you would like. It's a cute, cozy place to hangout and play games or just chat with company. The employees were really nice and explained everything well too. Can't wait to go back.

We had paid for the group tasting. When we arrived we each got a complimentary Jell-O shot which we thought was kinda random. We each got a Spanish red, white, and rose. We all got the same 3 wines and did not get to choose which we were a little disappointed about. Would be cool if they had selections of 3 that each person could pick. Especially ones with all reds or all whites in case you don’t like one or the other. It also came with a individual cheese box. Definitely something that could be skipped. The boxes of food had definitely been frozen as some of the pieces still had ice on it. (I think this is the only food available). We liked that there was board games to play. There was also a huge outdoor section but we stayed inside. The concept of the wine tap and “pay for what you pour” is definitely fun! It was pretty quiet in there most of the time and was not crowded at all. It was a cool spot but not amazing.

This is one of the most underappreciated spots in downtown Austin. The location is great, the interior is very well-decorated, and the wine selection is perfect. There are no frills on the wine menu- I've tried some of the wines offered, and they're all great. The events and wine tastings are also worth a try for a longer, more involved experience.

Just attended the speakeasy/cave wine tasting @ Barton Springs location and had the pleasure of meeting the owners. We were SO impressed and pleased at the wines, bites and whole vibe of this lovely intimate and unique event. Kudos to creating something different for “date night” or any night. We will definitely be back with friends! So much fun!!

Such a fun and cute place to go to. Went here as a part of a girls trip and really enjoyed our indoor wine tasting experience. I also loved that you could have a personal charcuterie board and choose from many tapas (which were delicious). The only downside is that it can be pretty pricey if you’re not careful but totally worth the experience.

I came by here just now as I really needed to do something fun. I work at a hotel which is very demanding!! I had maybe five small poors of wine all were very good!! The guy was a samalie I had no idea about how people don't like chardonnay now!! I tried the French one that had minerals was very good!! They have a great section of wine!! Also great menu!!The only thing I was a little disappointed the Tapas was soooo small but im sure it's good quality and I can't wait to try it. I also had the cheese board!! It was all very good and I was pleased to be able to try so much wine!!Also I recommend that if you're planning to drink please bring botel water and or with hibiscus!! This is the best Wednesday spot in Austin, hands down. I’ve been here like almost 20 times and it’s so deserving of 5 star. The owner (Sammy) is extremely brilliant and personally curates a variety of wines from various locations across the world. He hires incredible staff at every location! They are the kind of staff that feel like your best friends. Love the rewards program and the live music! Great for a friend reunion or date night. Cheers to Wanderlust Wine Wednesdays (half off wine) and all the memories I’ve had over the last 4 years here! We love you!
