Went there with friends to play music bingo. Lots of space, we were able to bring our own food, played games and enjoyed the wine selections. The only criticism I have is that a lot of the wine kegs were closed.

The drag show was fun, but when I read drag "brunch", I interpreted that to mean that food would be included or at least offered. Just be aware that there isn't a great food offering. That is fine, I just wasn't prepared for that and would have ate before if I had known. Luckily, there is a food truck on site, so I was able to get some grub, but the wait is LONG and I spent a lot of the show not watching, but going back and forth to check on my order. I was just a little disappointed with that detail. Maybe call it a drag "happy hour" or drag "and drink". Brunch means food!

LOVED drag brunch here. So, so much fun- amazing music, vibe, all of it. Was a highlight of my bachelorette weekend in Austin. If you’re thinking about whether to go or not, just go

Wanderlust Wine on Shady Lane is an absolute gem for get-togethers. The vibrant atmosphere, fueled by colorful murals and an eclectic mix of comfy chairs, sets the stage for a fun and lively experience. Ordering at the bar is a breeze, especially with an array of draft wine options to explore. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The open seating arrangement adds to the communal vibe, making it an ideal spot for group events. Plus, the availability of food trucks ensures you won't go hungry, making this a well-rounded destination for a memorable night out. Cheers to Wanderlust Wine for creating a fantastic blend of great ambiance, diverse drink choices, and delicious bites!

So Superb

Si much fun! Great staff. Great drinks. Great entertainment. Just a great place to hang out… especially on Sunday with their Drag Brunch! So epic! 10 stars!

The customer service and actual location is great. I came in as a starting point for one of the drinking pedal bike tours. While waiting for our group, I wanted to get a beverage. The menu was pretty limited to wines, no surprise. I'm not huge on wine so got a frozen margarita. It was pretty small and not that great, especially given it was almost $20. I would come back for a Drag Brunch but not to have just drinks.

Great spot on the Eastside to hang out, drink some wine, and enjoy a great company. Drag shows are top tier and you won’t find a more knowledgeable staff!

We came here and they were hosting bingo. It was song bingo with a preset playlist. They had it where you have to win 1 bingo, 2 bingo, 3 bingo, and 4 bingo on the same card as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th winner. They gave all 4 prizes to the same winner. They didn't take the winning bingo card from them so one person walked away with 4 prizes. Wow. Sad attempt at bingo, don't go if you get frustrated with incompetence.

If you're looking for a quirky bachelorette party space on a Sunday, Wanderlust is great. If you want to enjoy just a couple glasses of wine, this isn't it. The system of pouring an ounce or so at a time for tasting seemed really fun, but these are not high end, mid tier, or even lower tier recognizable wines. You are paying for the novelty of the tap system. Again, this can be fun of you're not a big wine person and just looking for a fun, casual (but expensive) time, but otherwise I don't think it will be worth it to you. I felt many of these wines were the same you could buy under $15 at HEB. Everything seemed like a one-off kind of style, overly sweet, or just honestly, not good. My husband and I went and each had 3, 5-ounce glasses, and our bill was over $100 for wine that was not good.

Enjoyed our time. We came for the music bingo, which I was as really excited for, but left before we got to experience it. Was supposed to start at 6 but didn't happen. We left at 6:45 after waiting the atmosphere is nice, wine prices are pretty steep, but the bottomless mimosas are definitely worth it!

Walked in and walked out!!!! Tried to use my Pours for Pets Passport in order to get our 1 free Jell-O shot that the book promised, and yet the bartender said we had to open a tab before she could give us the Jell-O shot and spend $5. First of all, I paid for this in order to support Austin Pets Alive and in return the sponsors get "free" marketing in order to bring new patrons in and hopefully they'll like it enough to spend more money. But... you're saying I need to give you more money without trying the free product you offered!? Um NO! Absolutely avoid this place!

Last time we were here, this was known as Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery. It had a very cool atmosphere and fun and funky decor. We loved it back then. Flash forward several years and now we're back, at Wanderlust Wine. They managed to make it even cooler! They have the standard full bar area up front, but past the bar and in the huge taproom seating area is the main attraction: A HUGE self-pour taproom. You can choose from 64 different wines! That. Is. Crazy! Alexandra, our server was so friendly and helpful, showing us how the whole system works and then leaving us to discover a whole world of wines. This place takes the wine tasting experience to a whole new level! We were able to try so many more different wines than we could at the typical hill country winery, and for roughly the same cost! To add to our enjoyment, we enjoyed some of the delicious barbecue from B. Cooper's food truck just outside. Everyone was so friendly and the wine and barbecue was perfection. We can't recommend Wanderlust Wine on Shady Ln. highly enough. Go there. NOW!

I’ve been here before and loved it, I love their drag shows and everything. But I came for trivia and the bartender basically forced us to do the pour as you go- which was fine. Until I poured this. I was talking with my friend while pouring and looked back and this amount of wine was $20!!!! The bartender acted like that was the most normal thing in the world “because it’s pay as you go.” No, that’s not the problem. The problem is is most people can only afford one. That’s a RIDICULOUS price point. And it wasn’t just the flavor I picked! My friends were that much as well. We won’t be doing that again, and advise that others don’t too. This is literally like the 2nd review I’ve ever done in my life for some place. This was that ridiculous to me. Dampered our trivia night. You’d think we were at a 5 star restaurant (where I’ve seen better prices for pours).
