Great staff and cool spot with live music. Food is 50/50. Cooked well but some recipes are made with some basic as heck quality ingredients. Cheese on my omelet, for example, was just squares.
Good food and great prices always a great stop with the kiddo for a cheap weeknight dinner. With a playground that makes it easy for parents to have a drink and relax while the kids get some energy out, What more do you need from a neighborhood icehouse.
Waterloo ice House employees were extremely attentive, confident and helpful. Apu and Tay went out of their way for anything we needed including bringing the dog a bowl of water. The restaurant has good comfort food but it is good service with kindness and a smile that is especially needed in the world today.
