My wife an I was Vista austin for the weekend. We are from Louisiana an we couldnt find any soul food. We google searched an we are glad we did. His food reminded me of home. It was hot, tasted good an i had great conversation with the owners about Louisiana while i waited for my food.

It’s a small food truck parked at a gas station, so I admit my expectations were low, but WOW was I blown away!! The chefs were lovely, and made me an incredible plate including chicken that melted in my mouth. I will definitely be back!! The cabbage greens were also to die for.

Being from Alabama and living here it’s very hard to find authentic soul food. Back home we just call it dinner! Literally had tears as I was eating these oxtails and the collards with cornbread made me feel so at home. They made me feel welcome and were super friendly which was an added plus considering the world we live in. With their soul music going and the wonderful smells emitting from their truck, this place blows expectations out of the water and is a must eat here!!! Don’t waste your time anywhere else if you need good home cooked comfort foods!!!

This the best damn soul food I think I've ever had, other than my mommas😉 The cabbage and the greens are as tender as southern lovin, same with the oxtails. Can't wait to go back and try the hot links n boudin. Thank you Mr. Watts for the incredible meal, yall will see me again for sure!

Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky, I recommend parking on the street next to it and walking over

The catfish was crispy and delicious. They have a peaceful environment for the food truck. Mr Watts was extremely friendly and the lady was extremely nice. It was a great experience.

I was in town for work a few months ago and stopped here. I was just thinking about my meal and had to leave a review. The brother's food was good. I got the fish and two sides. Meal also came with free refills on kool-aid. I really enjoyed my meal. I would definitely come back and bring others.

The Mac & Cheese is nothing more than shells & velveeta. Huge letdown. The wings were drummets with a little meat, also disappointing.

My husband and I found Watts that on google while visiting Austin, I ordered the chicken wings, my husband ordered the collard greens, and corn bread which is what he went for. I tell you the chicken was delicious, I don’t eat greens but my husband said it was really good. We talked with the owner while our daughter played with his grandkids. This was a wonderful experience for us. When we visit again we will definitely stop here. 2 thumbs up.
