NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE VISITING WHATABURGER ON 79 and RED BUD in ROUND ROCK,TX!!!😑 Yesterday evening I brought my son here for a burger. As I got in I sat in the seat across from the front counter. I have kidney disease and it makes me feel really tired so I wanted to rest a bit before I got up and ordered. As im resting a young black male maybe in his mid 20's comes in and walks up to the counter. I didnt see the cashiers name but he is a young caucasion and they both are talking. So im still resting and I hear the cashier tell the customer to be quiet and sit down. The customer then says who are you to be talking to him like that. Then the cashier tells him to shut up and sit down! Not sure whats going on but they are going back and forth! From just that little bit I heard the employee was being disgustingly rude to the customer. Then they both look at me and im asked who is in the wrong? I say I dont know whats going on but I just saw the employee tell the customer to shut up and sit down. And immediately the employee starts mouthing off at me while im there resting. I tell him again Idk what happened I just know what I saw and he started mouthing off at me again. I then tell him I dont know and dont care what happened but it didnt look right when he told the customer to sit down and shut up. Again he starts mouthing off to me. Then what looked like a supervisor and I didnt get a name but she mightve been Indian. She comes up and asks me whats going on so I tell her what I saw and the employee again starts mouthing off and doesnt stop. I tell her she needs to control the employee. She then says hes under control but hes still there being rude and mouthing off. Ive tuned him out and im trying to listen to her then finally another employee wraps his arms around the rude employee and pulls him to the back. The other employee pulled him away because he was extremely disrespectful, rude and not under control! She then tells me hes under control. You can still hear him. I say hes not under control he was just pulled away. She then points at me and the other customer and says we need to calm down. I said I dont work for you and you need to talk to youre employee like that, not us! Then you can still hear the employee mouthing off. Im frustrated and still sitting trying to rest! The employee escalated things and the supervisor did nothing to help! I was just too fed up and told her I wont ever come to this location again and I walked out. As I exited a few customers stopped to see if I was ok. My son told me he heard someone say that the other customer threatened an empolyee right before we got there. Not sure if thats what happened but im here getting treated like this because I was asked and I said what I saw! And the whole time im sitting down trying to rest before I place my order! It was so frustrating and stressful!!! As im in my vehicle pulling out I see the supervsor come out giving someone a pickup order. Even tho I felt she didnt do the right thing I decided im gonna apologize to her. I tell her excuse me I want to apologize to you. She just mumbled something and starts walking off. I then say youre gonna walk off when im apologizing and she mumbled again and walked inside. She was wrong but she didnt see the whole thing. I wanted to apologize and explain everything that happened and why they talked to me while I was sitting there resting before ordering! And Im getting treated badly for saying what I saw! UPDATE!!! I was able to talk to the store manager and his excuse was that the employee let the situation get the best of him. He explained to me that the other customer threatened a Whataburger employee before I got there but that had nothing to do with me! That was Whataburgers excuse for treating me ugly all while I was there resting before I ordered! Whataburgers lame excuse for treating an innocent customer like garbage! DISGUSTING!!! I felt they didn’t know how to listen. They had 2 things wrong with the order. 1 on occasion is fair but 2 in one day. To add to the blow, one employee was very rude and acted we were an inconvenience when first bringing up the first error of our order. We dare not mention anything to them when we discovered issue number two. Check your orders before you leave and make sure you give them big smiles because I feel they may need it for morale.

I went to this location since it was right off highway. I made a $60 purchase the entire receipt was correct but out of my 6 meals only 2 were made correct. I spoke with Andrea she said I was more than welcome to come back for a refund or remake. Well 2 weeks exact I was around that area and decided to try again. Andrea was not friendly at all in person didn’t make eye contact or even look at me once. I even paid for the 2 meals that were made correct the first time. Order was made correct this time just forgot the gravy.

I got a spicy chicken sandwich meal. The chicken was cooked fresh because of the time being like 3a.m. the fries seemed semi fresh and had zero salt on them. I asked for both the meals I got to be large and only got one and of course I didn't notice until I was gone and I wasn't going back.
