Staff was super friendly and the food was bomb! The burger of the week is so fire as well. Different one weekly. Place is small so it gets pretty crowded, but it's still great atmosphere all around.
Would love to leave 0 stars but have to leave one. Came in with friends and ordered a round of 4 shots (reference is the one on the left). Bartender got mad about to the tip left so my friend ordered another round (SAME shot but the one on the right). The bartender shown intentionally made them with practically only Tabasco. Trash service, dingy bar and honestly don’t recommend if you actually want to have a good time (unless the guy in the picture isn’t working maybe it’s better).

Hopeless Equestrian
We have been here 2 times, first time was good second time not so much. We ordered burgers and margaritas. And when our burgers were brought to us I asked about our drinks and she said “oh ya they are up there” so I walked to the bar to get them and when I asked the bar tender who was sitting on a stool watching tv he said ya they are ours but he needed to check my ID. So I gave him mine and he inspected it with his blue flash light for about 20 seconds (it was also day time and I’m almost 40 years old) then he said he needed to see my girlfriends ID too so I had to walk back to the patio to get hers and he did the same thing, inspected it closely with the flash light. Neither of us are even close to being under 21. I get checking IDs and if you want to go by the book, sure check IDs. But why do it after we ordered the drinks and paid for them and they were already made and sat there for 10 mins. By the time we got our drinks all the salt slid in the glass and they tasted like salt water and there was also a pepper seed in mine. It seemed like the bar tender had a grudge against me for some reason and wanted to give me a hard time making me go back and forth and bring him our IDs after the alcohol was already sold to us. He could have asked for our IDs when we were both at the counter ordering. Poor, unfriendly and unwelcoming service. Won’t be going back.

Workhorse Bar has total Cheers vibes, like the old TV show… but if you’re too young you probably don’t even know what I’m talking about. Go check it out and you’ll get it. The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are strong, and the food is on point. They have the best veggie burger and fries around, and it’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel like a regular even if it’s your first time.

Great craft tap selection, I had their burger special of the day. Green chili with an egg on it... So damn good!
Visiting from Houston. Accidently walked into the bar with an empty topo Chico can. Bought a round of drinks. Bartender tripped out and kicked us out. He handled it very unprofessionally and told us to “get the fuck out”. No worries. Plenty of bars around here but I’ll definately let everyone I know to never go there again!
