Definitely a "locals" spot. Everyone welcoming you into their local spot. This IS dive bar. Not a want to be. And the selection of great cheeseburgers is impressive.

I really liked this place. Vibe of the bars from my native city in Eastern Europe. If you want to drink and eat for low money and high pleasure, just visit this bar. Service is on top also. Bartender recommended cocktails to me exactly to my taste!

This place is a gem. Staff is friendly. Drinks are at great prices. Food is astounding (best salads, appetizers, and burgers around). No drama- just good people and good times.
Fried Pickle chips are where it is at. Crispy thin crunch that hides the pickle juice delight.

Ole reliable! Anytime I want to sit at a bar and have a brew & burger at 1100 I know I can trust on Workhorse. Great prices, friendly staff, great patio.
My improv group and I come here every Thursday after class. We love the food and cheap drinks and usually stay until close. Parking is kind of annoying, so is finding a seat (our group is usually 6-8 people so that makes sense), but that’s just a testament to the popularity of this place and the neighborhood. We once tried a different spot after class in search of more space, but it just didn’t feel right, so we came back to our tried and true Workhorse.
This is the best bar. Really good food too.
