My wife and I used to love coming to Zeds last summer. We would always get the plain vanilla dairy free soft serve and were amazed with how good it was, especially since it’s hard to find dairy free soft serve in the city. We went for the first time again in 2024 and unfortunately were very disappointed.Instead of soft serve we were served scooped dairy free ice cream. Unfortunately the scooped ice cream wasn’t very good, it was watery, not much flavor, and had frozen ice chunks in it.Definitely a bummer to get scooped ice cream, we both felt we could have just went to whole foods if we wanted scooped ice cream out of a pint. Also a bummer we paid a $2 upcharge compared to the dairy soft serve, we were happy to pay that before when we loved the dairy free soft serve, but now it feels like a bummer to pay an up-charge and get a worse experience. Unsure if we’ll visit again unfortunately, I really hope y’all go back to previous dairy free soft serve y’all had last year.

Ordered the #1 special and got home to realize they gave me caramel instead of peanut butter. I would expect the special to certainly not be something that would be so easily messed up. This was my first time trying and was sadly disappointed. While I was waiting I also saw two other people's orders get messed up. I unfortunately didn't try mine till after I left. Also, usually Oreo topping on ice cream is usually Oreo chunks not Oreo powder.

This is a wonderful little place. I thought they served something unique, but came to learn it is New Zealand style.Choose a soft serve flavor, a fruit, and toppings. You will receive your chosen fruit soft serve and toppings. The fruit other than flavor is indistinguishable.The service is window based, but friendly.No indoor seating all picnic tables with umbrellas. There is also a meatless food truck. In addition to ice cream they serve beer, wine, and coffee.We ordered the banana and Oreo 5/5 and blueberry with hot fudge 5/5.Parking: When busy parking can be challenging.

The flavor and texture of the ice cream here is just phenomenal. The best part for me is the creaminess. Ice cream just melts so smoothly in your mouth. Simple yet well executed.

Adorable place with super yummy soft serve in only fruit flavors. I had the Piña Colada, and the toasted coconut reminded me of the old Girl Scout cookies, samoas. (?). The ice cream is NOT super sugary and they have a vegan option. Try it out!Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids.

Zeds has been one of my favorite ice-creams in town. Their fruity flavors are amazing and also love the cute little spot they have to hang out. I want to give a shoutout to their staff. Our car refused to start tonight and we had a 2 month old baby in the car so we asked their staff for help. One of the staff member went and got jumper cables for us and the other member let me and baby in because it was super cold outside. Thank you for your kindness today. We would surely return again n again!

Great spot for ice cream. I don’t usually get dairy-free options anywhere, but I always get it here. They blend in real fruit, it is almost like soft serve. It’s delicious!
