Ordered one breakfast taco. Took forever to get my order to me while not busy at all. Staff was incredibly rude. Woman working at the counter was short and had zero customer service skills. Food was meh. Don’t recommend.

It took 25 minutes for the kitchen to prepare 2 migas bowls. We were the only people in the place. We noticed the cook just kept making grab-and-go breakfast tacos and asked about our food at the 20-minute mark. The woman at the register went to the kitchen to check on our order and the cook mocked us for asking about our food. (There is a window to the kitchen, so the cook knew we could see and hear him. Appalling.) They hadn't even begun to make our food when we asked after waiting 20 minutes. The cook was also yelling at the rest of the staff the whole time. Weird and aggressive vibes, horrible service. We placed our order at 6:42 AM on Wednesday, February 12.

It looks nice. Service was so delayed we thought it might be closed. Faces were sad and grumpy. Food was ok. I got the taco bowl. Not what I expected.

Ordered the beef fajita burrito. Not only was it bland, but it had bits of something rock-hard inside. It was likely old rice or something else scraped from the bottom of a pan sitting around all day. I almost threw it out, but there was less of whatever it was as I continued to suffer though it. Nearly every restaurant in this airport is rated abysmally, so I decided to take a shot. I wish I overpaid for the same bland burger I got at a place here a few weeks ago. I'm just glad they gave me a bag, because I eventually just started spitting in it to get the hard bits out. There was way too much at the end of the burrito that started eating.

This place was actually horrible, not good portions and overpriced! My family got ours without cheese since we are lactose intolerant and they put cheese on everything!

I did not receive my food.

I placed my order at the bar using their app.

I used my corporate purchase card, and so they will be refunding the meal.

I ordered a bowl of Zocalo with chicken fajita. For over 20 dollars, I got a bowl that was half empty with mostly burned chicken pieces and some salty rice and beans. Not very happy about it.

Ordered chicken nachos - nachos didn’t contain chicken at all. Pretty disheartening for cost

The cashier was incredibly rude. I ordered a single breakfast taco and they were already prepared and she couldn't be bothered to put it in a bag. After about ten other people were called I went up to ask about my food. I heard the cashier say yeah it's ready I just haven't done it yet. A much nicer woman asked to see my receipt and grabbed two tacos and put them in a bag. If you are at the airport in Austin and in a hurry don't go here. Customer service is horrible. Thanks for nothing Ariyana.

I actually really liked the breakfast bowl. I added bacon and removed the beans. It was a solid tasting bowl. The service and atmosphere were likely due to it being 5am as they just opened. The food was delivered quickly.

I would definitely recommend this bowl if you are wanting a good breakfast bowl at Zocalo Cafe.

If you could a "-5", I would. $15 just to get a "quesadilla" and I had to add $1.50 just to get cheese. ~ $17.50 total....the ordering system let's you "remove onions", but when you pick it up, they cant....they are in everything. Then, I had to wait until the staff finished their personal conversations before I could get my (now cold) order. I know complaining about airport food and service is a cliche, but this is an all time low. Anywhere else in Austin airport is better.

15 min wait for egg tacos, with only 3 orders ahead. But the food was good tasting when I finally got it.

Ordered the a la carte beef taco and waited 20 mins and had to ask the very nice cashier to check on my order. Only to find out they were out of beef. The manager was there but neither she nor the kitchen staff thought to give the cashier (or me) a heads up. Since I had 5 mins to boarding, I asked the cashier to sub a less expensive already made breakfast taco. Disappointed.
